After a few hours of sleep, Gangle heard a crash emanating from the kitchen and traveling down the hallways leading to the bedrooms. She thought it might just be bubble, so she used her ribbon arm to wipe the sleep from her anxious mask before stealthily getting up to investigate. She was shocked to see Jax and what appeared to be rows and rows of newly cooked red liquid jars hidden behind them as she entered the digital kitchen instead of bubble. Jax was the one humming to himself and busily churning a thick, viscous liquid in a pot.

"Jax?" Gangle yawned and inquired. Jax gave a startled shock. "Gangle! How did you get in here?"

"I heard a crash." Knowing full well what would happen if she irritated Jax, Gangle said she carefully navigated her way into the kitchen, taking care not to knock over anything he put out. "For what duration are you awake? & what's contained in these jars? Gangle queried.

"Everything else was simple for me when I became a little more focused. Don't worry, Caine promised that I can build as many as I need in advance of our impending inside trip, so we can finally be finished and ready for this foolishness! Caine is going to be blown away, I promise!"
Gangle had trouble hearing and comprehending Jax because of how rapidly he spoke. Gangle stepped backward and knocked against the kitchen table. The empty jars began to sway and tilt, almost toppling over. Gangle let out a gasp and attempted to grab it before it struck the ground, but Jax outran her, snatching the jar in midair and putting it down on the ground before returning to his task. Gangle blinked a few times, amazed by Jax's quickness and dexterity. Had he been this attentive all along? "Hmm, Jax, how many jars of this stuff do you think you have here?" We weren't even able to complete practicing, therefore I don't believe we need this many drinks."Jax cut Gangle off before she could say anything more. "I finished practicing too." Gangle seemed perplexed. "Is it done? by yourself? the entire process?"

"But when do Pomni and I get to help?" Before Jax interrupted, Gangle enquired. "You don't need to be concerned about it. I've got you covered." stated Jax.

"But you promised..."

"The thing is, Crybaby, both Zooble and I have a lot on our plates right now with this whole debacle of a show coming up, so I figured I could get this done a whole lot faster."

"But Jax, that's not fair."

"Sometimes you can't have what you want; that's just how life goes."

"But-" Gangle was cut off yet again.

"Gangle. I will not argue further at this time."

"But jax-"

"I SAID NO." Jax screamed.
He turned to Gangle and growled with a slight twitch in his eye. Gangle recoiled in horror and stepped warily back from the towering rabbit. It worried her since she had never seen Jax so angry. There was a brief period of stillness, during which Jax blinked a few times and shook his head before getting back to his task. "I was just going to ask if I could help you." Gangle muttered. Jax froze for a second before glaring back at Gangle. "Maybe you should try something different? I'm doing well on my own." Jax informed Gangle that the choice was final by using the tone of his voice. defeated and slightly hurt by Jax's words. Gangle fought back a sniffle and walked out of the kitchen.

When the event was finally over, Zooble and Jax approached Caine to give each other a performance evaluation.

"My my, that was an outstanding performance, you two." With excitement, Caine observed the two as they gazed at him. "It's nice to see a little hustle these days."

"And what about the performance?" Jax questioned, struggling to stay still as he waited there for a response.

"It was entertaining at the least, as far as I'm concerned."
