Distracted by the little fairy creature that dissapeard into the sky, I'm snapped back into reality by the storm of men running past me left and right. The newly fixed sails are pulled into the air, wind blowing in the enormous sheets of patched fabrics. Abruptly the ship is pulled from its stationary position, and is pulled with the wind forwards.

My feet, not used to being on floating vehicles, loose their balance again. I search for something to grasp onto and my hand lands on something tall and firm. Slowly I look up and am in instant contact with those piercing emerald green eyes, they interlock with mine and taken by surpise I try and avoid further eye contact.

"Not becoming shy now are we, Y/N bird?", Hook tuts almost belitteling with a large smirk on his face, "I suspected after last night we would be beyond that point."

I quickly pull my hand of Hook's chest, the fine fabrics of his undershirt stroke my fingers as the wind blows past. I can smell the odor of his body hitting me in my face, pure musk, salt, notes of dark leather and hints of smoky oud. Irresistible. What is it with this man, any sensible being would be repelled by his actions, but every bone in my body wants to be touched by him all over again.

As these thoughs fire through my head I quickly make up a response to not give Hook the win of the conversation, "Last night-", I almost fall over my words, "Last night won't happen again. Your silky words lured me in Hook, but I'm not one to be ensnared so easily. Your charm may be as sharp as your hook, but I've sailed stormier seas than your attempts at seduction. Captain, you may think you're in control, but I'm the captain whatever it is that you are trying to uncover here, and I won't let you steer this ship off course."

I shoot him a defiant look, locking eyes with his mischievous gaze. Despite the magnetic pull between us, I stand my ground, refusing to let his intoxicating scent cloud my judgment. "You may be used to having your way with other girls before me, but I'm not one to surrender without a fight. So, Captain Hook, prepare for a battle you might not win."

Hook's smirk wavers slightly, surprised by my bold and snarky response. He leans in, lowering his voice to a seductive whisper, "A battle, you say? I do love a good challenge, darling."

I feel the heat rising, both from the tension in the air and the undeniable attraction that simmers between us. But I won't let him see my resolve crumble. With a playful smirk of my own, I retort, "Well, Captain, this ship doesn't sail on the winds of your desire alone. I suggest you find another crew to command, for I'm not one to be swayed by the likes of you."

And with that, I turn on my heel, leaving Captain Hook in my wake, his smirk now replaced with a hint of frustration. But as I'm about to storm off, Hook grabs ahold of my wrist.

"Not so quick there Miss Y/N," Hook says with a lowly, "Such brave words, I do give you that."

I come to a halt in my step. The Captain pulls me closer and forces my head to face his as he guides my face with his sharp freshly polished hook.

"As willing as you were yesterday, that shan't matter today," he continues. "Wether you like it or not, you will stand by my side as we sail into Neverland to face your little friend-"

dramatic pause

"Peter Pan," Hook spits out.

"I felt sorry for you yesterday, but now all I feel is pity," I manage to mutter back.

Captain Hook's grip tightens on my wrist, and I can feel the cold metal of his hook against my cheek as he guides my gaze to meet his. The tension between us crackles like a sinister undercurrent, a silent duel of wills.
