"I want to devour you," Sunstreaker whispered. I sucked in the traitorous lip between my teeth; if only it stopped showing what he was doing to my body. When I dared to glance at him, his gaze was narrowed on my lips, tracking the movement. Sunstreaker was good, making me feel this way, having my body give in on his touch and he knew. Asshole.

My hand rested on his firm chest, his heart thundering beneath my palm."Are you going to kill me if I walk away again?" Slowly, he shook his head, his finger curling around my chin. I temporarily stopped breathing, taking in every detail of his handsome, devilish face. "And why would I do that? How can I... enjoy you if you're six feet below?" I tried to mask the tremors whacking my body. That tone...

My eyes pinch shut as his breathing fans over my cheek,— his body pressing deeper into my own. He's so much bigger, his form enveloping me until all I can see, feel, and smell is him. "Such an inconvenience." Heat coiled in every part of my body. His finger slowly slid from my chin towards my cheekbone, where a loose strand dangled. He twirled it around his finger. Slowly and taunting before brushing it behind my ear.

Just as he leaned into me to kiss me, I snapped out of my dream. Jolting awake with a thundering heart and a terrible ache between my legs. I swallowed hard, turning on the sconces behind my double bed. My eyes squinted against the sudden torture. I skim the room to ensure there's no mech lurking in the corners. Of course, Sunstreaker wasn't. When did he ever notice me?

I fell back, staring at the ceiling. Pathetic. I am pathetic. As if a Cybertronian would ever fucking care. My eyes flashed towards the clock. It's six – too early to get up but too late to fall asleep. I no doubt would roll out of bed like a zombie if I did. I slide a hand down the duvet, peeling the sticky nightgown clinging to my sweaty skin away. I pulled it over my head in a single motion and dropped it on the floor beside the bed. My legs fall apart. I needed release. If I didn't get it from the twins, I had to get it elsewhere by my own hand.

"You're one minute late." Prowl sketched a brow with that familiar, disapproving look. "Am I?" I checked my phone. One minute over eight. "You better get moving." He snapped his fingers, and I quickly edged around him, descending the bustling hallway. It led to the main hangar. The center point of the base. This was my second year at the base after graduating high school, much to my mother's dismay. She would've enjoyed seeing me enter law school. Instead, I followed in my father's footsteps. He died about a year ago in Afghanistan. He had wanted to join N.E.S.T. Like I did.

I cornered and caught sight of the hangar, standing as tall as a fifteen-story building, with several passageways, stairs, vehicles, and an entire control room for the Autobots. The largest platform was high enough to make eye contact with Prime. It also meant climbing uninviting metal stairs.

Lennox stood on the platform and talked to three higher-ranked soldiers. All four had families and lives they fully intended to return to, and this job was not without risks. Besides the constant threat of Decepticons, this base also held tons of explosive Energon. It was enough to induce second thoughts in even the most highly trained individuals. Prime had refused to transfer the Energon to a safer location. Not after a relic was so easily stolen years ago by Ravage. He just failed to say out loud that he didn't trust their life source in human hands. Deliberately so. I wouldn't either.

My gaze slid towards the Autobots present in the hangar. Prime and Ironhide stood parked a little further away. Dino was bickering with Jazz about something, and Que was merely observing. Not a sign of the twins. I suppressed a sigh and set in a walk. Sunstreaker disliked the business and the constant unwanted attention from the humans.
