Prologue

Esme's POV
We were in Ireland and Carlisle and I were relaxing together and Edward had went hunting for a day to give Carlisle and I alone time. I had been feeling off for the past week but I assumed it was due to Edward telling me he killed Charles. Carlisle looked at me. "Darling did you start using a new shampoo?" He asked.

"No, why do you ask?" I asked him confused.

"You smell different." He said.

"Different how?" I asked him.

"Like you did when you had blood in you but also it smells like venom mixed in." He said and he wrapped his arms around me and he felt cold.

"Something's wrong you felt cold." I said, Carlisle rushed me up to his study and pulled out books he had on vampires he flipped to one and I saw it said blood moon. "Blood moon?" I asked.

"Yes it's a rare occurrence but it has been told that it makes vampire women who really want a kid to be fertile and even then it's rare." Carlisle said showing me the book and poking my stomach and I felt a smaller flutter like with my little boy.

"This shouldn't be possible." Carlisle said.

"Guess we are having a baby." I smiled and Carlisle smiled at me and kissed me.

"I would only want a kid with you." He said kissing me lightly. Edward got home and looked at us like we lost our minds.

"That can't be possible, vampires can't reproduce." Edward said.

"Edward there's no other possible explanation, the Volturi has had heard of cases of blood moon children." Carlisle said. Edward nodded deciding to accept it. We learned I could consume human food and animal blood.

A\N: This is just the start Luna was born in the 1930s and will have accelerated growth but not super fast growth like Renesmee and act one is pre-Twilight.
