𝐒𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐘 𝐊𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒 // 𝚂.𝚃𝚘𝚍𝚘𝚛𝚘𝚔𝚒 𝚡 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚛

𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝚘𝚗𝚎

'Working can't be that bad, Mina wouldn't torture you.... right?'

You sighed to yourself as you pushed open the door to the candy shop.

The sweet smell of candy overwhelmed you as you saw the bright colorful walls lined with candy dispensers of all kinds. There were a few kids looking around and holding bags filled to the brim with different candies. It was nostalgic walking into the place. 

You stepped inside and walked around looking at the different candies lined up on the colorful walls. Then a thought hit you.

'When was the last time you've been to a candy shop Y/n? You haven't been to a candy shop since......' You frowned at the thought, You were about to tun around before a monotone voice interrupted you, making you jump. "Anything specific your looking for?"

You jerked your head around and saw a boy, he was about your age. He had fair skin,  one turquoise eye on the right (his left) and one grey eye on the left (his right), He had half and half hair, the left white and the right red. He was wearing a simple black button up shirt with a white name tag on the right that read 'SHOTO' In large bold letters.

You smiled softly at him "Oh, Hi!" You said akwardly "I'm actually here to.... to uhm like work?" 

'Your so dumb Y/n'  You internally scolded yourself 'I'm here to uhm like work??? What kind of dumbass says that on their first day of the job??'

The boy smiled lightly at you "Oh. Your the new hire?" He asked nocholantly.

"That would be me! The name's Y/n!" You said while sticking out your hand for him to shake "Nice to meet you..." You paused and looked at his name tag "Shoto!"

He looked down at your hand at ignored it before looking back up at you "Nice to meet you too, Y/n." He said.

You dropped your hand to your side and frowned a bit 'Maybe he just dosen't like shaking peoples hands. Calm down Y/n everything is okay. He dosen't hate you..... Yet. Shut up!'

While you internally argued with yourself Shoto was obseving you silently, the way you fidgeted with the front pockets of your shorts, the way you just smiled nervously, he could tell that you were trying to make a good first impression and you were failing miserably. He had originaly walked up to you cause he thought that you were cute, now, based on the back of your shorts, you were taken.

Shoto smiled "Please follow me... Y/n, I'll show you your uniform." He said, before turning on his heel and walking off.

Your eyes widend as he started to walk off. You quickly followed after him 'Damn this guy is really fast.' You thought as you followed him behind the counter towards the 'EMPLOYEES ONLY' area.

You followed him in and saw various boxes of diffrent candy all neatly stacked on a few rows of shelves. There was also a door to a bathroom and right next to that on a nearby wall was a short row of hooks with diffrent clothing items on it.

Shoto lead you towards a hook rack the very left which had the word 'NEWBIE' on a peice of duck tape over the hook, on the hook there was a simple back button up shirt and some black pants on a hanger.

"That will be your uniform." He said while pointing to the hook, You can change in the bathroom if you'd like." He said before walking off "I'll be walking around the shop if you need me. If you could work the registers that would be great." He said before walking off.

You sighed to yourself 'Is he just going to assume I know how to do this? Cause I really don't' 

You quickly slipped on your uniform and walked out of the 'EMPLOYEES ONLY' area and towards the register.

You looked down at it 'Do you think i'll make it in the world records for shortest time employed?' You thought to yourself 

'only one way to find out'
