Chapter thirty two—-
Continuation of work studies
—-Work studies were still going on due to their winter vacations were going on, and some like Todoroki, Bakugo, and Midoriya were off with endeavor, Kaminari, Mineta, Sero, and Shiozaki were working with mt lady, edgeshot, and Kamuri Woods— aka team workers, then Tetsutetsu, Kirishima, and Amajiki were off with fatgum
Then there was the one and only Aki— who was at the agency as it was night, and right now— she was having diner with the sidekick: floppy, while mirko was you guessed it— someplace
"Good work today idou" floppy tells her before saying 'thank you for the meal' and eating the food that aki cooked, the other sidekick was gone on family issues for now, so the agency was pretty much just her and floppy— whose name was actually Sana
"Thank you" aki simply tells him as she dips her head in appreciation after she too said 'thank you for the food' like usually she's been taught to do
"Oh no need to thank me!!" Sana exclaims as her hands cupped her face as there was a small blush of admiration, though aki wasn't affected— probably because the sidekick reminded her of midnight
"Now, why don't you tell me all about how school life is for you" sana says as she has a polite smile, and aki looks at her
"Ah, it's.. been different compared to junior high. My classmates are also different than the ones from junior high" aki responds before taking the pork and eating it as she chews on the finely cooked meet in her mouth
"Ooh! Tell me, how are they different?" Sana asks in interest as she leaned forward a bit with a grin on her face
"Oh, well- their.. energetic i guess. Well except for Todoroki or someone like tokoyami are, also most of them are too loud in the morning..." aki's face sours as she once remembers kaminari full on blasting some song called 'pocker face' at 5 in the morning.. let's just say he had to get a new phone due to aki's doing
"Ooh!! Tell me, are you close with this tokoyami and or Todoroki?" Sana asks in internet as she grins as she leaned forward, making aki blink
"Oh, well their my classmates. I suppose i'm closer with Todoroki though, i think i do a lot of class things with him" she tells the sidekick as she went back to eating before she could go and worry about falling asleep
Meanwhile, sana snickers as she held her chin, "ahhh, i see, i see" sana grins as she has a planing look, though aki didn't really talk further about it and instead she goes ahead and finishes her diner
—- after quickly beating a low level thug, aki hands the man who got their things stolen to the man while floppy had overseen it, "good work, you should go back to the agency now and rest up for tomorrow" floppy tells her, making her nod her head
"Alright, if you say so ms floppy" aki tells her, of course she wasn't going to fight back or anything of that sort— probably because she liked to sleep
So as she went back to the agency— she had entered it while hopscotch had a overload of paperwork— making her sweat drop a bit as she felt bad for the sidekick due to how Mirko just gives all the paperwork to the sidekicks
And with floppy being more of a mentor than the pro who should be mentoring her— hopscotch had to take all the paperwork
"Do you-" before she could finish, she was met with the sleep deprived look on hopscotch's face— the woman had looked horrible, making her sweat drop even more so, "never mind.." aki wasn't going to even try and go and try to sacrifice her sleep
—-as her day was busy with much more hero work than previously, probably due to the fact that it seems that people were getting themselves in trouble, and that Mirko was actually trying to 'mentor' her... odd.
As she ran with a light breath out, she was able to run by Mirko, "c'mon kid! Don't ya' think about slacking off!!" Mirko challenges, making her give the pro a nod
"Don't worry about me ms Mirko" aki responds, making the pro's face deflate, "don't call me miss!! I ain't some old hag y'know!" Mirko barks at her
"Oh. My bad" aki responds with the blink of her eyes, making Mirko have a deflated look
"Hah. Loosen up!! Your sounding like your old man" Mirko complains, making aki blink though she doesn't make any further commentary on the matter
