Being a freshman in college would be scary for—-most girls, but for you it didn't mean much honestly just a bit more freedom, but of course you were ready.
Making your way through the halls with your suitcases and bags you found the front desk, which a dark skinned lady with wrinkles sat, her grey and white curly hair was in a bun, her red framed glass sat on her face that also matched her red tights that she wore along with a white blouse and Greg sweater on over it as she looked through loose papers.
"Sorry to bother you but I was just trying to find my dorm."
The lady looked up at you with a bright smile on her face she looked you up and down but not in a rude way, just to see if she could recognize you or knew who you were.
"Your name dear?"
She asked sweetly as she tapped away at her computer that sat in front of her, you gave the lady a sweet smile and replied with your name:
"[Y/N] [L/N]"
As your eyes looked to the side and seen the things that laid on her desk. Papers, pens, highlights, her name tag that read "S. Molly" then there was a picture of her in a wedding dress next to a man in a suit the picture looked as if he had been taken at least 20 maybe 30 years ago, so her name had to have been Mrs. Molly..
"Room 420, that would be on the 2nd floor dear, hold on let me just get you your key.."
Mrs.Molly drifted off to the back somewhere you simply nodded at the lady, she soon came back with a key that hung on a cheap keychain. You simply smiled and left with a simple "Thank You"
You made your way to the elevator and presses the button with the number 2 on it but as the elevator closed it opened right back up again.
Damn.. He looked good, he wasn't very tall but he was a bit taller than me, brown-skinned, black compressed t-shirt, purple sweatpants.. a simple fit and still looked god-like his eyes looked dark and a bit intimidating, he just gave off that intense vibe but you tried your best not to let it phase you.
He didn't say a word as he stepped in the elevator he looked down and pressed the same button as you.
The silence that filled the elevator was dreadfully, maybe not for the stranger but for you.. it definitely was.. but you were doing well of hiding it you were sure of.
The elevator opened and you quickly grabbed your bags and walked out but he stepped back allowing you to leave first.
The first thing you seen when you walked out of the elevator was a sign pointed to the left were rooms 400-426 and to the right was 427-449. The stranger had walked to the right while you slowly made your way down the left he looked back and seen you one last time before he turned to a door and walked inside.
As you stepped in front of door 420 you took a deep breath and collected yourself.
"Okay [y/n] your next roommate for the entire semester is right behind this door.. maybe she won't be all that please... please don't be a weirdo.."
You whispered that last part a bit quieter than the rest of your sentence and hoped and prayed that your roommate would be cool or at least decent.
"New Beginnings.."
You sighed before you took the key and unlocked the door, you looked around and the dorm was very nice, it was spacious with white walls and hardwood floors there were two bed that were a pretty decent size.
You looked around and seen half the room was already decorated which wasn't bad it looked pretty cute and cozy, there were a couple of posters up with a beanbag chair and make up on the little night stand you shook your head mentally telling yourself it didn't seem so bad.
"Wassup girl, you must be my roommate."
A girl with brown braids said as she walked in the door holding a plastic bag which looked like it had snacks in it by her side. The girl had on grey flared tights with a sweater of *college name* university on it in there school colors.
She was brown-skinned with full plump lips and almond shaped chocolate colored eyes. She was so pretty.
"Yeah! Hey my names [y/n] what's yours?"
You asked with a genuine smile on your face as she did the same.
"Victoria but you can all me Tori girl, that's what all my friend call me"
You nodded your head as you laid your things on the empty bed.
"Okay Tori, so glad I could meet you we should get to know each other and everything really soon but i actually have to get ready and dressed I have orientation soon yeah?"
She shook her head and she waved it off with a smile and understanding nod.
"Yeah of course girl go ahead I don't want you to be late."
You rushed off to get ready..
