The man crouched down by the single droplet of blood, the gems on his headband jingling in the wind. He sighed, and stood back up, deciding to do a quick look through of the village to see if there was anyone. One by one, he cleared the houses. All were empty so far, and there was one last house. Carefully, the man stepped into the house, and he wrinkled his nose. The was an awful stench and he wanted to just walk back out and be on with his life, but he had a strong feeling that he needed to look more. So he tried his best to fight the urge to throw up, as he walked through the house. He sharply looked around every corner of that house for a sign of presence of someone, a sign of life. For, there was one thing that the man knew; that blood was fresh.

One by one, he scanned each room, not very successful when it came to finding evidence of someone being there. Yet, he kept going. Adamant that there had to be somebody in that house, and whoever it was, clearly didn't want to be seen. Finally, he rounded the corner to the last door. He slowly opened it, and then sighed, clearly disappointed. Nothing. Not even another drop of blood. Whoever did this, was definitely not an amateur. Before he was about to leave, he heard a muffed sniff. That was enough for him to turn right around and back into the house. He needed to look harder. He pulled out chairs, tables, and even counters incase someone was somehow behind them, or had a small room hidden by one.

When he didn't find anything, he began tearing up floorboards, until he got to the third room in a hallway. The room looked to be a kid's room, but it also looked very suspicious. He quietly apologized to the owners of the house as he tore up another floorboard. As he did this, a small piece of fabric caught his sight. It was a little bloody, and was very torn apart in various places. He put the board to the side and then grabbed the fabric to inspect it. It was also fresh, the the blood on it was still wet too. He quickly looked under the rest of the floorboards, trying to see if there was anything else, when he found it.

A peculiar hole in the floor, quite big. It looked like it had been dug out by human hands, and was long. The man quickly began clearing the floorboards around it, before slowly crawling in.

This is set one month after the mission
(We'll revisit that later ;))

Yawning slightly, Obanai's eyes scanned the room he was in. Great, I fell asleep. He thought to himself, looking around the small udon shop he was in. He was seated in the corner, by a window, clearly, he had been asleep for awhile, as it was quite dark outside. No wonder he fell asleep like that though. He had been searching for days without sleep, and his feet ached. But he already knew that he wouldn't be returning home until he found that female demon. He didn't have a crow now, so he wouldn't be assigned any new missions for awhile, meaning he had time. However, it seemed to be slipping away from him as the hours passed by with still no trace of her. He quickly got up and exited the shop, continuing his search for the demon. He at least wanted to know her name, and if she still has his haori...and perhaps a could of other things..

Nevertheless, he couldn't do those things if he didn't know where she was, but to think, that he could possibly be searching for somebody who had died. Well obviously he hoped that she wasn't dead, but there was still a chance. Then, there was also the possibility of  her avoiding him, and that's the reason why he still hasn't found her, despite looking everywhere possible. Of course demons never stay in one place for that long, but he hadn't thought that it would be this hard to find her! I mean, he did come across he by accident thanks to his crow, which was now dead.

Damn, why did I kill that crow? He thought, while making his way out of the town. He hadn't realized how much of help that crow actually was, it made sure he knew where he was going, and kept him on the right path. Now he has no idea where to go, or where he was. Perhaps he could've been going in one big circle this whole time. He paused, and took a deep breath, taking in his surroundings. Deep down, he kinda knew where to go. Despite being incredibly lost, he had a simple understanding of where to go, which he never understood. It wasn't like somebody was actually telling him, or there was a arrow leading him in the right direction at all. It was hard to explain with words, but, he chose to just listen to it, just incase it would help lead him to the demon he was looking for.

Change from 3rd person*

You have found the best cheat code. The Red Light District. You don't even have to do much to catch your prey anymore! Your new singing blood art makes it even easier than it already is.

Walking through the streets, you look for something that you quite don't really know. Perhaps it could be someone to eat, or something shiny.. although you were already wearing a collection of the nicest thing in the district, either stolen from her victims, or given to by stupid men. As you round the corner into a quiet alley way, you realize exactly what you were looking for: Quiet. The Red light district was usually so lively at night you forgot what it was like. Sighing softly, you continue your journey out of the alley way, until you hear something... Or rather, someone.

You slowly poke your head around the corner, and see a tall man with white hair, pulled back into a ponytail. His clothes were quite odd, on the back said "Destroy". Which was a very random thing to have on a shirt,  he seemed to be investigating the place in a way. Then you notice two odd shaped katanas..and it hits you. It's another demon slayer! Crap he looks strong too...you thought as you stared at him. He turned around and you quickly hid behind the wall again, your heart pounding. You decide to quickly walk back to your room, before your head mistress noticed you were missing, but couldn't help but think about the man. What was he doing here in the first place? Did they notice the people going missing and are suspecting there's a demon, so he was sent here to find it? If so, you're in trouble.

You finally creep into your room feeling relieved, there was no way he'd find you there. You fixed up your makeup and tried to relax, but you couldn't get rid of the strange feeling in your gut; No matter how hard you tried, you just kept getting it. That feeling, the uneasy feeling that you weren't the one he was looking for..
