6 Years Later
Austin's POV

"Ally, the real estate agent will come in any minute! How long does it take you to take ONE regular shower?" I yelled as I stood outside the door that separated me and the bathroom.

"God Austin, you should already know how long I take in here. We have been living in the same apartment for 4 years already. We have been married for 2 years. Hold up, I'm coming out of the shower." Ally replies, exasperated. My eyes widen in realization.

"Ally! Please be careful! I don't want you getting hurt. Open the door honey. I need to help you." I say, turning the knob and pulling it to open.

"Hey! I need privacy mister. I'm naked for gods sake." She says.

"It's not like I haven't seen you like that before." I say, smirking. Even if I don't see Ally, I'm already certain she's blushing like crazy.

"Austin! Seriously?" Ally yells.

"You love me sweetheart." I say. "But seriously, open the door and let me help you." I wasn't gonna let her take any chances.

"Ugh fine. Let me get a towel." I hear her shuffling in the bathroom. "Okay, come in." I open the door and step into the bathroom.

"You seriously have to stop looking out for me after I always take a shower Austin. I could do it myself." She tells me.

"Uh no you can't. As long as I am here, which is going to be always, I'm going to keep you and the baby safe. Well, the baby that's inside you I mean. I love you and I don't want you to do something that may get you and the baby hurt. You're seven months along now Ally, you're almost there." I tell her, grabbing her waist and leading her out of the bathroom. She wraps an arm around my waist for more help.

I take a look at her swollen stomach. Her now very swollen belly and the rest of her body are covered by a large towel. Our smaller towels get to cover her whole body, but now that she's 7 months pregnant, they don't do any good.

"I know you care Austin, and I love you for that. I know you'll do a great job being a father, but I need to learn to do things myself." She tells me.

"Well," I say, as I pick her up and carry her bridal style. "I promised you when you first told me you were pregnant that I would never leave your side these 9 months. And, I've been doing that. I'm going to keep my promise." I tell her, setting her down on our bed. I take a seat next to her.

"Yeah yeah I know. Thanks." She says, smiling and looking down embarrassed. She gives me a peck on my cheek. I smile. She turns to face me and cups my face, bringing me closer. "I love you Austin."

"I love you too Ally. Always have and forever will." I say to her. I grab her waist gently. I lean in, while she does the same, and I give her a sweet, passionate kiss. We pull away and smile. I stand up and get on my knees, face to face with Ally's stomach.

"And," I say trailing off. "I love you too little guy or girl, since we don't know what you are yet. We want to be surprised in 2 months." I coo to Ally's belly. She starts to giggle softly. I put both my hands gently over her stomach and I feel a kick. I smile and look up at her. She looks down at me and smiles too. She places her hands over mine. I lean in and give her belly a kiss too.

"In just 2 months, I'm going to be a dad. And you're going to be a mom. How great is that Als?" I say, my eyes getting teary eyed and my voice cracking.

"It's amazing Austin. It really is. We are going to be parents, and we are going to have a beautiful son or daughter." She says, her eyes getting teary eyed and her voice cracking too.
