Korra didn't expect Friday to arrive quickly. The entire week, she was working on the esports center project. She turned that project in on Wednesday, and now she was editing a video on one of the reporters talking about the big convention in two weeks. Korra looked at the clock on her monitor screen again. It read 3:30pm. Seeing that most of her work was complete, she decided to save the project on her hard drive. Once done, she packed everything in her backpack. She logged out of her computer and clocked out for the day on her. She put on her backpack, she grabbed her helmet, and gloves walking outside the door. She said goodbye to her coworkers as she passed. Once she was outside, she walked to her bike. Putting on her gloves and then her helmet. She started up her bike and put her feet on the pegs. Then, she drove back to her apartment.
- Korras apartment -
She parked her bike on the street and got off. She took her gloves and helmet off, walking inside and up to her apartment. Unlocking her door, she stepped inside and was greeted by Naga. Smiling, she hung her helmet on the rack before kneeling down to pet her dog.
"Hey girl, I'm home early. Let me get changed, and we can go for a run, ok?" Naga barked and sat near the door waiting for her master. Korra laughed before she went to her bedroom.
After five minutes, she came back out dressed in blue basket ball shorts and a white muscle shirt. She walked over to Naga, putting her harness and leash on. The pair walked out the door to enjoy their run. After about an hour, the duo came back to Korras' apartment. Korra let Naga inside before taking off her harness and leash. Korra then walked to her bedroom and bathroom to have a shower. Twenty minutes passed by before Korra exited the shower.
She began looking for an outfit, 'Casual? Nothing too fancy, it's not a date, it's just friends meeting up. Yeah, just two friends meeting up, that's all.' Korra gently reminded herself.
She finally decided on light blue Levi jeans that were a bit baggy at the knee. A white high-rise ve neck t shirt. And a dark blue short sleeves button down, leaving the first three buttons undone so the t shirt could be seen a little. She walked to the bathroom and dried her hair, brushing it down. She brushed her teeth again and decided to put gum in her mouth. Spraying on some simple ocean scented perfume. Once she was done in the bathroom, she walked in her bedroom to see Naga curled up asleep on her bed. Smiling, she gently rubbed her ears
"Good girl, I'll see you later tonight." Korra whispered and kissed the top of her head
Korra grabbed her phone off the charger, and she saw a text from Asami.
'Hey Korra! Remember, it's Narooks tonight. See you soon. :)'
'I remember, see you in a bit.' Korra replied before putting her phone in her pocket
Korra walked to the door and put on her dark blue bomber jacket, zipping it up to protect her from the cold. Put on her blue and white sneakers, and she grabbed her gloves and helmet. She walked out of her apartment, locking the door behind her when she was out the door. She walked down the stairs and to the street where her bike was parked. Putting on her gloves and helmet, she turned on her bike, put her feet on the pegs, and drove off to meet with Asami.
- Narooks Noodles -
Korra drove into a parking spot, and she turned off her bike. She took off her helmet and gloves, getting off her bike. She put her gloves in her jacket pocket before fixing her hair. Tucking her helmet under her arm, she walked into Narooks to see Asami already sitting at a table by the window. She saw Asami waving to her, Korra walked to where Asami was sitting. Asami stood up and immediately went over to hug Korra.
"Hey Korra, it's so good to see you." Asami said while she hugged Korra
"It's good to see you too, Asmai. Great, actually." Korra hugged Asami back one armed
