hi guys. this is my first fan fiction so fingers crossed you like it. this is set after titan's curse (book 3) but Annabeth joins Luke. please enjoy :). All rights obviously belong to Rick Riordan for PJ characters etc
Percy POV
I jumped out of the cab, ignoring the drivers puzzled mutters about dropping me off in the middle of nowhere, and began to hike up the steep hill that led to camp. I couldn't hold my excitement any longer. To be back with my friends. Grover, Connor, Travis, Beckendorf, Silena, heck even Clarisse. And Annabeth. My heart skips a beat whenever I think of her. We were best friends but sometimes I thought we could be more. I couldn't wait to see her. I sprinted the last 10 metres and stood by the tree staring over camp. Where was everybody? Something seemed wrong.
"Percy".
I spun round to see Grover standing next to me feet scuffing the dirt not meeting my eye.
"G-Man," I ran to embrace him in a hug until I saw his face.
"What's wrong?"
He suddenly looked up eyes meeting mine and I saw his eyes were puffy and bloodshot.
Fearing the worst I asked him again.
"Its Annabeth," he whispered. "Luke has her."
"Captured?"
He shook his head.
My heart stopped
No. No.. no she wouldn't do this.
Grover was silent for a moment before managing to choke out.
"She's joined Kronos."
My world went black.
