"Girls don't play poker," he states. "What? The girls didn't make time for you?"Sexiest fucking bitch.
"Stand up real quick," I state.
He smirks, looking at his boys before standing up and getting in front of me. "Cant deny the attention of an Acard-"
My knee is in stomach before he finishes spitting out my last name. "Shit, should a girl not fight either?"
His friends groan and chuckle before slapping his back in encouragement. "Fucking bitch," he groans.
"Yeah. I'll take your spot. I know how hard it
is playing in pain." I move pat him and sit between the two fourth years. "No need to
explain, I've played."Boys. The only mistake I believe Jesus made. Then again, if it weren't for boys, I wouldn't be here, explaining my story to you. And i'm perfect. So maybe Jesus made boys so that one day, I would be put on this earth.
The door opens and in walks a tall, blonde haired boy, all dressed down in a black suit.
Mr. Malfoy. I've never spoken to the boy, nor do I need to. We've lived perfectly content with not speaking the last five years. And I'm perfectly content now continuing this little agreement.
That was until I apparently sat in his seat.
"Move," he states at the other side of the table.
The boys grow tense next to me. I look up at him. "Why?"
"My spot," he states. "Move."
"Your name on it?" I ask.
"Child," he states, growing a little agitated. "I said-"
I put a hand up. "I'm aware of what you said. I don't understand why you keep repeating it like it means more to me then it did 5 seconds ago. Find another spot, Draco."
He tenses at his name. I'm starting to realize no one calls him by his first name. "Say that again."
I lean forward and smile. "No thank you." I stand up and slide past him, keeping eye
contact, just to add a little more fuel to the fire. "I don't need to play. Wouldn't want to embarrass anyone."His eyes burn into the back of my head as I head up to the girls dorms. We started school a month ago and since then, i don't know what's been going on but every little thing I do aggravates him.
Perks of being a legacy, my own room. And, I have to say, it's amazing. Most of the time, Im not alone. I like to surround myself with people, people I know listen to legacy's because "they know best".
They're right, we do.
A knock at the door breaks me out of my studies. I put on my robe and open the door.
Give me a fucking break. Malfoy.
"Yes?" I smile all sweetly. He stares at me, annoyance in his eyes.
"What is so difficult for you that you can't listen?"
I sway my head side to side. "I do listen. To a select few. You just don't happen to be one of those select few."
"When did you get so mouthy, legacy?" he questions, leaning his hands on either side of
the doorway. Now, here's the thing. Draco doesn't bother me. He's a prick, yeah, but he's never done anything to or in front of me. Like I said, we lived cordially for five years.
But now I feel vulnerable. Nothing but a robe and some underwear under it, and I'm not exactly the tallest person in the world. I'm not short, but i'm not Mr. Malfoy height and right now, with him looking over me? Not exactly
the best feeling."I'm not arguing with you," I state. "Either say what you have to say or get out."
He just stares. His eyes move down my
body then back up. He smiles a cocky ass smile and leans in. "See you around. . . princess."I. Hate. That. Fucking. Name.
Oh, i've never wanted to hit someone so hard.
The closest I get is slamming the door in his face. Princess. Before I even got to hogwarts, that nickname followed me like a demon. I knew I was an important person but Princess just didn't sit right with me. When it followed me to school, I shut it down real quick.
And up until this fucker repeated it, I was able to escape the name.
"What's got your panties in a bunch?" Pansy asks.
"You ever not open your mouth?" I ask, putting my fingers on my temples.
She rolls her eyes. "I forgot meaningful conversations are meaningless to you. My fault for caring."
"It is your fault," I state. "Tell me something, though. . . Malfoy. Why's he such a dick?"
She raises her eyebrows and turns to me. "That's what your all upset about? When has a man ever made you bat an eye?"
"I'm not batting any eyes. I would just like to be informed on why this sorry excuse for a man feels the need to engage in really fucking annoying behaviors. That's all."
"Oh, that's all, huh?" She rolls her eyes. "If you must know, his Dad is a dick too. Not a fan of either of them but he's nice to look at."
I scoff, getting off the bench. "You're so much help." As I turn, I crash into a boy. He wraps his hands around my biceps to keep either of us from falling.
"I'm sorry-"
Oh, my fucking luck.
"Are you stalking me, Ms. Acardi?" He chuckles.
"Get your fucking hands off me." I shove him off and dust off my robe. "You'd have to be worth my time for me to stalk you."
"I'm worth everyone's time," he suggests, shoving his hands in his pockets. "Everyone but Princess here."
Before I know it, my wand is against his neck. He just chuckles, putting his hands up next to him. "Say it again," I whisper. "I swear to
fucking god Draco, you and I don't have to live in peace.""If this is your idea of peace, this is gonna be a fun year," he explains.
"Ms. Acardi!" Snaps booms from the door. I wince. Draco just smirks as I push him away from me. "Care to tell me why you have a weapon to Mr. Malfoys throat?"
"Cause he deserved it," I explain, shrugging.
He points the top of his wand at me. "Detention. Both of you."
"The fuck? Why?" Draco asks.
"That right there," he states. "Don't swear in my school."
Haha. Prick.
