In true Dameon fashion, he woke her up early. She just wasn't sure if it was because he was used to getting up early, or, to punish her for last night. Probably both, she thought to herself. Plus, from what she could barely see, through the slits in her eyes, the clock showed she only slept about four hours. With a low groan, she flopped over.

"Let's go." He announced again, as he started shaking her. She did note he wasn't sounding any happier about it than she felt at that moment. "Need to get up, get dressed and start loading." He ordered.

"You do realize I don't have that much to pack." She mumbled, her face still buried into her pillow.

"Then that means we can just get on the road that much soon. So, let's go." He said this time he snatched her covers from off the top of her, dumping them into a heap at the bottom of the bed. She groaned again but she did finally, at least, sit up in her bed.

"Come get something to eat, after you're dressed." He stressed as he headed on back of the room.

Lexi was beginning to notice that he wasn't much for suggesting you do things as much as just telling you what to do. She rolled her eyes as she stood up and made her way to the bathroom. First things first, she thought, then she'll get dressed.

It really didn't take long, once they officially started loading up Dameon's car, to pack her up. She had no furniture and just two boxes of miscellaneous things she had managed to keep through out her years of moving around with her mom. Mostly, things like a few of her dolls and toys, stuffed animals and nick-nacks.  Along with a garbage bag of clothes, her bookbag and one more smaller box with some keepsakes that were important to her.  Julie also let her take her pillow, saying she completely understood about having a favorite pillow.

By 10:30am they were ready to go. They could have left sooner but Dameon had Lexi strip her bed down and put her sheets into the laundry for Julie. He also had her vacuum the room and dust the furniture before he would even consider leaving. She tried to not whine about it to much. She needed to really be on her best behavior. She was kind of hoping that Dameon might be forgiving, for her latest adventure into the middle of the night, if she willing to be helpful. He still hadn't said anything about what happened last night...at least, not yet.

The three of them were currently standing around in the kitchen. It looked as if Julie was making Dameon a coffee to-go. Dameon was casually leaning against the kitchen counter, his arms crossed, along with his legs.  While Lexi just hung by the doorway, herself leaning against the door jam. She was kind of ready to go. She was looking forward to getting settled in the car.  She could use a nice nap for a couple of hours.

"Ah, say, do you need any privacy before you go?" Julie asked Dameon.

Lexi's body jerked up straight. What?! Her eyes flew open wide as her brain instantly went into alarm mode. Privacy? Why? Why would he need privacy?! Her eyes darted between the two of them anxiously waiting for Dameon's answer to Julie's question.

Dameon was well aware Lexi was watching him...and waiting for his answer. Julie handed him his coffee. He definitely had every intention of addressing her disobedience however he didn't really want to stress Julie anymore.

"No, I think we need to go ahead and get on the road." He answered.

Lexi felt immediate relief wash over her. Then she wondered why couldn't Julie just mind her own business? She refrained from sticking her tongue out at her but she did feel a little snarky. At least for now, her backside was safe, so in your face Julie.

She watched as Dameon lifted his body off the counter and began walking towards the doorway where she stood. He stopped when he got right beside her and looked directly down at her. She hesitantly looked back up at him. She did notice that he didn't look really mad just more determined. Her snarkiness was quickly fading.
