April 14 2021

It has been a whole year since I saw Nancy. I was working in a lab which my "friend"  Molly Hooper works at. Sometimes she lets me do my work there. I was trying out a new experiment when my phone dinged. I ignored it and kept working. Molly looks at me with a questioning look. She wonders why I didn't check my phone. I glance at my phone which is beside me. I sigh and open it. A message from Watson. Of course. I opened the message.

{There are some people who want to see you, there in a bit of a rush}

I sigh and text him I'll be there soon and then pack away my stuff.  I put it in a drawer and grabbed my jacket. "Bye." I say quietly before walking out of the lab. "Bye!" Molly answers just as I leave. I sigh and start to walk down the road to my flat. Probably a missing cat case or something. I groan. The most famous detective in all of London gets missing cat cases. I keep walking and after a while I arrive at my flat. There's a pretty nice car outside my flat. It is an orange Ferrari with Purple wheels. I walk into my flat. I'm getting more and more confused as I walk upstairs and open the front door. A woman with a female suit is pacing in the living room. Two other men are standing in front of our back wall and they also have nice suits. I hang my jacket and the woman who paces the room looks up at me. "Thank god you're here." She says. I glance at Watson's chair where he is sitting. He looks as confused as I am. I walk over to my chair and sit down. "Who might you be?" I ask as I sit down. "My name is Samantha King but You can call me Sam, I'm the new boss since Nancy left." she answers. I raise my eyebrows. "Nancy left?" I ask. "Yes, she left after you took that kid, seems like that girl changed her a lot." she replies. I sit on the edge of my chair. "And why are you here?" I ask again. "After Nancy left not many people were happy with me being the new boss. They made basically a revolution to try and demote me and chose this man, Named Henry Smith, to be the new boss. They plan on attacking us soon." She says. "What has this to do with me?" I ask. Too many questions I have. "Nancy is the only one who can stop them from attacking us, I need you to find her and convince her to come back." She answers. There's a moment of silence "Have you found any trace of her?" I ask. Watson looks at me in a way of disbelief. I know he thinks i'm crazy accepting the case. "We know she is in some part of London" Miss King says. I nod. There is no trace of Nancy, She seems to have changed when she gave over that kid and she is still in London. Not much to run off of. "Do you know anything about where she might be or why she left?" I ask. "Not really, she just handed me the keys to everything she owned and left, We searched her office and we think she took some keys to a small apartment somewhere and her debit card with a substantial amount of money." She answers. "So she is pretending to have barely any money?" I ask. "That's what we think." she answers. I nod. "I will try my best to find Nancy." I say after a couple minutes of silence. Sam smiles. "Thank you" she says. She gestures for her guards to leave and they walk out, she is about to follow  them when she pauses. "There will be a reward if you do find her"  Sam says before walking out. Me and Watson sit there in silence until I hear her car drive away. "A reward? Like money" Watson says. I shrug and get out of my chair. I grab a piece of paper and a pen, I start to write down what I know right now.

Nancy left her job after the little girl was taken back to her father, She seems to have changed since I last saw her, she took a debit card with a large amount of money and a key to an apartment, she left without even a word of where she was going to do, She seems to not want to be found,

That's all I know. My best start is to go to a part of the city for the poorer people. My main problem is how to convince her to go back to what she purposely left. I'll deal with that when I find her. Right now I need to find her. That's my main priority.
