The car ride was silent, very silent. But I wanted to break the silence as it made me uncomfortable. My parents used to fight a lot when I was little and they would be screaming all over the place, breaking things in anger and I used to hide under the bed and wish they would shut up. And that's exactly what happened. After a time they stopped talking to each other completely and I would choose their quarreling over their silence any day.

"What are you thinking about?" Blake asked.

"Just past memories."

"Care to share?"

I looked at him for a while. "No."

"Just wondering if I can be of any service." He said.

"Speaking of services, where are we? Its so dark!"

A moment of silence dawned in the car. "Could you reach into the compartment and take it out and put it on?"

I opened the compartment and drew out a piece of cloth. It felt like feathers. As soon as I took it out, my jaw dropped and I couldn't stop staring at it. I looked at him in suspicion, his eyes were on the road. "You want to blindfold me?"

"Azalea just put it on, I can't have you seeing where am I taking you. Its for your own good, just wear it!" His tone held authority and I knew I couldn't ask him further. So I put the eye mask on and sat in my seat quietly. "I'm sorry. Just do what I am asking without questions and I'll get you out of the mess I got you in, I promise." He said it with concern this time. "You trust me?"

I thought I could, but with him keeping me in the dark, I got confused. "You are literally not letting me see anything Blake, so I don't know anymore."

"I'd like to think that you do. The way you kissed me told me you do."

"Don't use that against me Blake."

"I wasn't. I was trying to lighten up your mood."

And just then the car stopped. "Are we there?" Without answering me, he got out of the car and a few moments later my door opened and he grabbed me by the arm and pulled me out. " Jesus Blake, easy. Your grip is too tight."

"Don't speak until I ask you too. Now walk." He said in a monotone.

This was a different Blake. Not the one who kissed me out in the parking lot. He led the way and I could hear my heels clicking on the pavement. Soon it started clicking on a wooden floor and I heard a door closing, I knew we were inside, wherever we were. He took my blindfold off, my eyes narrowed due to immense lighting. We stood in a hallway with a few people around. i looked up to see a big breath taking chandelier hanging over my head.

"This way. They are waiting for us." Still a monotone. I didn't want to get into trouble so I kept my mouth shut and did as he instructed.

"Lead the way." I gestured him with my hand to move so I could follow.

He looked at me, concern was evident in his eyes and then turned around and started walking and I followed. We entered into a big room with alot of people probably in their mid 40s sitting on the big luxurious sofas.

"What's your name?" One of them asked.

"Azalea."

"Well Azalea, I am Tom. Its nice to meet you."

"Likewise."

"Looks like you've gotten yourself into a situation far more dangerous then I think you assume."

"It'll be nice to know what is that situation exactly."

"You saw what you shouldn't have seen. Clear enough?" He said in a mocking tone.
