March 4th
I opened my eyes and saw my bright light turned on. I heard my mother downstairs. Today was a school day, right? I don't know.. fuck my head is killing me and my arms are sore.
"Momma?!" I called out sedate, I rubbed my eyes and looked down to my phone it was only 4:05 am.
I looked down at my hands, I felt beat red. I must have gotten a cold or something, maybe from school or else where.
"You're so funny, oh shit I gotta make this soup!"
I heard my mother say she was on the phone. I looked at her as she rushed to get some veggies out of the refrigerator and some sauce
"Mom, why are you home?"
She turned her head and noticed I was wake and how red beat my face was
"I'm taking a 2 day break from work.. and you're sick, I went to your room to go wake you up and saw how hot and sick you looked."
"You don't have to, you can always go back to work." I grumbled, she sat down my bowl and looked down at me with a worried face.
"Im your mom. I have to take care -"
"You don't have to take care of me, im fine by myself." I mumbled, eating the soup and looking up at her
"But I appreciate it."My mothers face dropped, and she but her hands to her sides she looked away. I heard the birds chirping and dogs barking.
"Ok, well.. I'll just go upstairs -"
"Ok, and I'll go to school. It's probably just allergies." I sniffed my nose, I got up and walked to the sink, cleaning out my bowl , and putting it on the rack and walking back upstairs

"Broo! Open the fucking door!!" I heard ezra yelling outside banging on the door my mom opened the door instead of me I ran downstairs then saw her.
"Bye, momma..." I said hurriedly. As I grabbed Ezra by the ear and we walked down the street
As we walked down the street, we went to a dount shop and waited in line, I gave Ezra a mean glare, and I crossed my arm.
"Hey man! Didn't know your mom was home. She's always at work."
"You yelled it tho, I live in a neighborhood ya know. Every person on the block must have heard you."
"I'm sure some food will cheer you up." He patted my back and smiled innocently.
"I don't have any money." I looked down at my feet and sighed."I'm broke. I spent my allowance on new shoes."
"I can tell."
I nodded my head and looked down at my feet, then furred my brows and looked back at him.
"What's that supposed to m-"
He hurriedly went up to the cashier and smiled at her.
"You already know, mami." He said, puckering his lips
It was some Mexican girl she looked young like she was in her 20s. She had long, wavy hair and big lips she looked kinda short, well shorter than me.
"Shut up, I'm so tired of you." She said, rolling her eyes as she asked, putting her hand out for the cash.
"17.56" She said as she snatched the cashs out his hand and then put it inside the machine.
"Wait by the poster over there." She waved her hands, then we moved, and another custom made their order
