It was a flash of white light that ended the war. Horror was fighting Swap at the moment when it happened. It blinded Horror for a minute, before he passed out. When he woke up, he found that everyone had left him there. This was a normal routine, and Horror was used to it. With a low groan, Horror got up from the ground and opened a portal back to base.

Horror was whacked in the face with a couch cushion the moment he stepped into the main area of the base.
"Whoops, didn't see you there Horror" Killer slyly said, giving his famous cocky smirk. Horror just ignored him, and walked away as Dust jumped Killer. Horror had too much of a headache to care about his idiotic teammates. Instead, he went to Nightmare's office to inform him about his presence.
"Horror, I do not care if you're here or not. You could be dead and wouldn't give a shit" Nightmare spoke while being annoyed, and Horror picked that up quickly. To avoid pissing Nightmare further, Horror quickly left to his bedroom. Once Horror got to his bedroom, he changed into something more comfortable before trying to go to bed.
Horror's thoughts kept him awake through the majority of the night regardless of how tired he was. Why was he was still there when no else seemed to care? He doesn't get paid for his work and no one really respects him, so there was really no point for him stay. That was when Horror made the decision to leave the in the morning.

Horror groaned as he shut off his alarm as quickly as he could. He had to be quite as a possible if he wanted to leave, and luckily Killer was in the room next to his. Killer slept like a heavy rock that was thrown into the river, but Horror still had to be careful. Certain floorboards would creek if you stepped in them, but Horror knew where to step. Horror swiftly packed his personal belongings within the next half an hour. Once Horror doubled checked he had everything, he carefully made his way to the window and cracked it open. First Horror dropped his bags before sliding through the window into the cool-crisp morning air. Shivers ran down Horror's spine as he picked up his bags and walked away from the base, far enough to open a portal without being heard by the crew. However, Horror didn't really thought about where he was going. He just knew he had to get out, so Horror decided to open a portal with a random area code. This would take Horror to an universe he hasn't been to yet, and hopefully where he wouldn't be tracked down by the crew. Once Horror opened up a portal, he jumped in and landed into an overground universe. Horror brushed himself off and immediately went to explore the universe, which he quickly learned it was Farmtale.

It has been roughly two hours since Horror explored Farmtale, and he was now looking for a job. Something he was good at. So Horror went down to the market area, where a large banner welcomed civilians to the large farmers market.
"Hey there pal, are you looking for a job?" Someone said while walking up from behinds Horror turned around to see a bear monster wear worn out Jean overalls.
"Yes, yes I am" Horror replied in low voice, daring the bear monster to speak more.
"Well boy, do I have a job for you. The name's Erv, and I own a lumber yard" Erv spoke in a cheerful manner, waiting for Horror to respond.
"Any more details on the job?" Horror cocked a brow bone at Erv, waiting for more details.
"Of course! I need someone to cut the wood, and you seem like the perfect candidate" Erv answered, nodding his head at Horror's axe. Horror thought about it for a minute before agreeing and shaking Erv's hand firmly.
"See you tomorrow!" Erv said as he handed Horror a slip of paper before leaving. Horror looked at the paper he was just given. It contained Erv's contact information and address, so Horror tucked it away safely in his pocket. Horror walked away from the market area, looking for a place to sleep. Unfortunately, Horror didn't have enough money to book a place to sleep at fir the night. So Horror went into the woods, and found a decently sheltered area in no time.

Horror managed to wake up on early without an alarm, giving him enough time to walk to Erv's lumber yard. It took Horror roughly around an hour and a half to get there, but he made it on time.
"Good morning pal, how are you today?" Erv greeted Horror as he sipped on his morning coffee.
"Could be worse" Horror spoke lowly. Erv just shrugged and guided Horror to his workplace.
"Here you go pal, this is where you'll be working" Erv told Horror. It was a shop space, and every sound echoed back. Horror could tell it was new since it had that smell of a new building. However, Horror noticed he was the only one working there.
"Am I the only one working here?" Horror asked.
"Why yes, this is a new business. Don't worry though, there will be more people working soon" Erv informed Horror. Horror nodded in response.
"Yeah, so I will cut down the trees and you-" Erv cut himself off as a thought came to his mind, "What you say your name was?" Erv continued as he looked up at Horror.
"My name is Horror, why?" Horror questioned. He was a bit confused since back at Nightmare's gang, no one really cared to know each other's names. They would just pick it up overtime and maybe used it to address you.
"Strange name, but okay. As I was saying, your job is to chop the wood into smaller pieces. Just enough to plane them down into lumber. The manuals should show you how" Erv informed Horror, while also pointing at the stack of books.
"Okay" is all what Horror said as Erv left the shop, leaving Horror alone.
