Author's note: What you're about to read is a birthday special for one of my best friends that I made on here, due to our mutual love for YuGiOh, but it's not only her birthday. It's also her OC, Danuja Meadows's birthday, and I was given special permission to borrow him for this special, to which he will be joined by Rio Kastle and their version of Iris. Hopefully I have done Danuja justice in this special. Anyway, happy birthday, ValenciaCooper! Please enjoy this special, even if you're not the birthday girl this is for! 💙 💚

It's the early morning of December 2nd when one resident of a luxurious home awakens to the sun starting to rise through the curtains of the master bedroom, basking the room in a slight gold color without disturbing one of the other residents of the home. The one now awake is a woman named Rio Kastle-Meadows, and from the moment she woke up, she knew what day it was today, so she quickly got to work. First, after she got out of bed, was to wake up her young daughter because the two-toned blue-haired woman knew her daughter was just as excited for today as her mother, but the older woman had to make sure a certain someone is still asleep.

Just before she could wake up her daughter, Rio turned to look at the person sleeping in her bed, his green-colored hair splayed out against his pillow as he snoozed away. The sight alone was enough to make Rio smile and lean over to kiss the man's forehead; with this kiss causing a smile to appear on his handsome face as he snuggled closer to his pillow and falling deeper into his sleep. Seeing his smile made the magenta-eyed woman smile herself as she got out of bed to begin the day, now seeking to wake up her daughter. Dusting off the imaginary dust on her blue nightgown, Rio walked out of her bedroom and quietly closed the door behind her, making her way to the only other bedroom in the home; the bedroom of her and her husband's daughter, Iris Meadows, and as she made her way to Iris's bedroom, Rio knew that her daughter is looking forward to the day ahead once she wakes up and realizes what day it is.

Reaching the bright pink and white-colored door that is decorated in childish drawings, one of which being one of the seven year old girl and her parents (along with having big bright lettering sticking to the door to spell out her name), Rio quietly opens the door and tip-toes into Iris's room, grateful for the plush carpeting on the floor to silence her footsteps. Up ahead, in a child-sized bed that is covered in brightly colored bed sheets, blankets, and a couple of stuffed animals, laid a seven year old girl with a mix of blue and green-colored hair, likely dreaming of a world filled with candy and rainbow. Rio smiled to herself before sitting down on her daughter's bed and reached a hand out to gently shake the little girl's shoulder while saying, "Iris? Sweetie, it's time to wake up and help Mama out with preparing for Daddy's birthday."

At the mention of her father's birthday, Iris's eyes shot open and she immediately sprung out of bed faster than Bugs Bunny while remembering to keep the volume down for now because the man of the house was still asleep. "What are we waiting for, then?! Let's go, Mama!" the child exclaimed to her mother, vibrating with excitement for the day ahead, causing the older woman to smile and gently - but quietly - laugh before picking Iris up in her arms. Now with her young daughter in her arms, Rio carries her downstairs so they could get started on Phase One of their Operation: Birthday, which is cook breakfast. Since it was his birthday today, Rio and Iris quickly got to work on cooking his favorites, so that simply meant Rio would do most of the cooking while Iris was her little helper, handing her the necessary ingredients at certain points and even got to stir the mixture before her mother could cook said mixture. (Sure, Iris spilled some of the mixture on the counter, but it wasn't that big of a deal, nor was it a big mess, as Rio could just easily clean it up and resume cooking.)
