Heart Coated in Snow

Chapter 2

What happens when the infamous eda clawthorne is trying to avoid someone? Well the world aka me, betrays her simply for fun.

She was at the store getting a few things for her car, and her self. Some cat toys, car milk, treats, ice cream a blanket. And other essentials for her house.

Luck has it as she was getting some liquor because she was low on it, she heard a familiar voice. "Hey there, pretty lady" eda froze, and looked up and saw Raine smiling at her, their eyes with such a bright yet gentle gaze. Their kind eyes made her weak in the knees, which she refused to admit. "Uh.. R-raine.. Was it? Uhm.. Hi?" She muttered. And not in her usual confident tone. Raine smiled brightly and nodded. "Yes! That's my name, I'm glad I got to see you again" they said, then really looked at her. She wasn't wearing a big jacket or anything, she had in a white sweater which had some very gentle but sophisticated design on it, and a red scarf. Then looked at what she was buying. A little weird but hey.

They smiled at her, then chuckled. "You have a little friend at your house?" Eda was a little confused, then it hit her. "Oh! Y-yeah totallytotallytotally.. I have a cat at home" Raine was a big fan of animals, which wasn't a secret even if you didn't know them. "Awh, what kind?" Eda rubbed the back of her neck and let out a nervous chuckle. "She's.. A black cat, her name is Luna.." She wasn't really sure what to do right now. She hasn't been approached like this in a long time.

I mean what could she do to her than stare at them while they spoke to her. Their hair was short, but a little long in the front. It didn't cover their eyes, but it had some volume so she could run her fingers through it if they were to- no!

She's not in love

Although the more she looked at them, and heard them, she more their gentleness stuck out to her. Their vibrant yet kind gentle smile. Everything about them had a certain gentleness to them. "Eda are you listening?" She blinked then chuckled Nervously. "Yeeeah.. Totallytotallytotally.. " Raine snickered. "Oh really, then what did I say?" Eda looked guilty, very guilty. "Hah.. It's alright princess, I know someone like must be busy, being someone's special lady" she blushed furiously.

Why?

Because in all her sex stories the female was always called princess. She didn't think she'd be into something like that but here she is. "I-im.. Not in a relationship" she muttered. Raine raised an eyebrow, then looked her up and down. "Really? I wouldn't have guessed, your stunning.. Il have to fix that" she was absolutely dumbfounded. What did they just say?!

They said-
I know what they said!!

"I-.. Excuse me?.." She asked partly wanting them to say it again, and partly hoping she misheard them. Raine tilted their head slightly, then chuckled softly in a breathless way. "Don't worry about it princessa~" they walked away, then said to themselves. "That is my future wife" 

Eda covered her face with her hand. 
She could barley think of something that wasn't Raine so she just hurried home to die, because she gay.  

A few days later  eda was out with her sister, when again, raine had found their way to her.  Eda didn't notice at first, which gave Raine enough time to calm their nerves, as they were a wreak right now.   A beautiful woman which they wanted to date, bursting if confidence. The flirtatious facade was only a cover up.  

"Hey princess.. Let me take you ona  journey.. The journey of life"  she was so caught off guard by this she didn't even get it at first, but she was very much trying to avoid that. "Yeah.. No thanks. I'm not looking for a relationship, so you can fulfill your journey somewhere else"  Lilith rolled her eyes, the cheesyness was painful.

Raine chuckled, and put their hands in their pockets. "Do you know anything about astrology?"  She took a second to think. "I mean.. A little.. Why?"  The chance Raine be been waiting for. "If you were the stars I'd devote my life to being an astronomer, if only to begin to understand your beauty"   eda started blushing furiously as Lilith held in laughter almost choking.  "...h-how.. Cute.. " she muttered, trying to keep a distance.  "Not as cute as your blushing"   Lilith practically dying at this point.  "I'd like to think of our future relationship as a business deal"  eda sighed, and face palmed, knowing her sister would never let her hear the end of it. "I give you what you want, and you give me what I want"  eda  ran her hands through her hair. "What do you think I want?.." She asked suspiciously. "Love and affection"   eda whimpered to herself. "And.. What are you after?"  Raine smirked and looked her up and down, which gave it away, or AL East a fraction. "Your a smart girl, princess.. Figure it out"   eda was so close to just exploding into a big panic.  "Soo.. How about you sign the contract?"  They  said holding their phone out to here, with the key pad up for her number. Lilith just started laughing which embarrassed Lilith more. "Edalyn, if you don't give them your number, I'm going to do it for you"   eda scoffed and shoved past her sister to go home.

Raine chuckled, and blushed at how cute she was. "Don't mind her, she's stubborn" Lilith said, as she put edas number in their phone. "I can see that.. She's not straight is she?"  They asked. Lilith chuckled. "She's bisexual, you have a  hold on her"  Lilith gave their phone back and yet to comfort her sister so she wouldn't drink herself to death.
