*Steve's POV*

"Ever since I was a freshman and transferred to my new school, I always had a problem with one boy. Tyler. I know I talk about him all the time diary but... I think I'm starting to like him. As much as we hate each other and now that where seniors I just think it's time for a change. I won't get a chance to see him all summer so maybe this final week with him things can slightly change between us." I close my diary and go to sleep.

*June 12th*

*6:48 am*

*Bus stop*

I get onto the bus and see Brent and Mac. I sit across from them in an empty bus seat.

"I just found out I have to go to summer camp. I can't wait."

Mac says happily.

"Lucky. I have to go to that learning shit this summer."

Brent says with great annoyance.

"I don't have to go at all. You guys are unlucky."

Brent sucks his teeth and pushes me into my bus seat. I quickly sit back up and laugh at his anger.

"It's only a few weeks anyways. You need to come out the house anyways you don't do shit."

"And you're better than me? Yeah alright."

"What the fuck makes you better than me?"

Brent says slightly raising his voice.

"Well I don't smoke, and I don't sneak out the house."

"Yes you do! Remember that one time you snuck out to talk to that girl?"

"Yeah but she was in my front yard that didn't count."

"Bruh whatever."

We switch the topic and keep talking. Soon we arrive and we get off the bus.

*7:10 am*

I go to my locker and pull my book out. I close the locker and see Tyler next to me. He closes his locker, and we see each other. Man he does look good.

"What the fuck are you looking at?"

"A good morning would be nice."

I say back.

"Good morning Steve.... Are you okay?"

"I'm better than ever Tyler."

"Yeah cool... Weird ass nigga."

He says before going away. That was a great start, right? I think I did good. I then feel a tap on my shoulder and turn around. I see Karly... His girlfriend.

"Is he being a asshole? He's been cranky this whole morning."

She tells me as she fixes her hair.

"Nah it's cool... He's always like this."

"What does he have against you? I mean he never gave me a solid story."

"It's his fault... Honestly a petty argument."

"So since you're both petty you won't drop it?"

"I did but it just got worse from there... Shit I'm late."

"Alright see you later Steve."

Why won't Tyler drop this stupid shit? I can't seem to drop it either, so it'll take both of us.

*10:23 am*

*Lunchroom*

I sit at my lunch table and listen to my friends talk while I read a book.
