you had taken the two extra days you had off to heal before preliminaries started, luckily you healed fast and you were comfortable with fighting again. you had the help of jonin teachers to deal with the curse mark on your neck. as everyone got to preliminaries, you found out were against a boy by the name of kiba inuzuka, temari was first to fight with tenten, leaving ten ten down in an instant. kankuro and mizumi were next, having lots of hope you decided to ditch watching and have a little fun.

you decide to gather some information about kiba inuzuka, you would fight him next round after sakura and ino. as you walked to approach kiba inuzuka you were stopped by a certain black haired boy calling for your name.

"y/n, during the writing exam your eyes were red. Tell me, do you possess Sharingan?"
sasuke asked you, his cold gaze fixed onto you as you thought about what to say, you couldn't let him know too much about you yet.

"Sharingan? What's that? I don't know any dojutsu."
you decided to dodge his question and play dumb, it would be easy to gaslight and manipulate him for later if you need to. he narrowed his eyes at you as you looked up at him innocently, pretending not to understand.

"This is my match, I have to go now."
you walked off with a smirk while sasuke watched you leave. as you walked past him, you realised he had the same bite mark as you, the two of you would keep a closer eye on each other.

"Even if I did have a dojutsu, it's not your business."

for a split second you activated your dojutsu behind him, you touched his cursed bite mark on his neck, calming the swollen mark a bit. he watched you pass by him, the swollen pain on his neck was gone yet, he looked at you walking off to the preliminary battle area. he watched you get ready to from above with his sharingan activated, he was desperate for any type of information about yourself.

'he uses dogs, hm? i don't think a dog can stand a chance on me.'
you thought to yourself. you watched as his small dog turned into a clone of kiba, you wanted to finish this off quickly.
you chanted a hex and you were holding the two of them by the neck with your force. they both moved around, struggling to leave your hex. you chanted another spell and they passed out conscious, you release the force making them drop down a bit while they were unconscious.

you smirked looking up at where gaara, kankuro and temari were standing, they smirked back at you. you checked kiba's pulse and the dog's heartbeat to make sure you didn't accidentally kill them.

"Y/N, did you kill them?!"
kankuro smirked, yelling to you.

"No, they're just sleeping!"
you yelled back, smirking to kankuro. temari smacked kankuro's head and reminded him that we were supposed to keep a low profile and not attract any attention.

you were called to leave since you won the match and met with kankuro, gaara and temari. they congratulated you for putting someone unconscious so quickly. you looked at the board seeing sasuke uchiha and yoroi akado were next, you looked at him curiously. you were interested in what he could do.
