A few nights later, Matty, Nathan and Marcus staggered in the house, "Matty! Oh my god you're wounded!" Teresa sobbed. "what happened?" Skylar asked, coming behind Teresa. "we had a meeting.... In the woods... Ran into some old friends" Marcus said. All three of them were hurt. Matty had a bullet shot on the shoulder. Nathan got grazed by a bullet to the chest and Marcus has one to the arm, "I have an idea, Teresa. You treat Matty, Skylar, you treat Nathan and I'll treat Dad" Stella said, giving out instructions. Matty looked at her and sighed. "typical Elly. Always with the know how,"
Teresa, Skylar and Stella led them to their rooms. Skylar laid Nathan on the bed, Dan was there. He looked up "hi, babe" He smiled, but his face crumpled to concern, "what happened to Nate?" He asked. "He got grazed in the chest" she said and undid his shirt, he opened his eyes and smiled "thanks for being there Sky," she sponged off his chest and wound, she put spirit and eusol on it, and a layer of cotton wool, she bandaged it up, carefully, then took out two pills, "have these, it'll reduce the pain" she gave them to him and water. He drowned them and laid back and slept "thanks, I knew you'd help me, thanks Sky" He said and the pills took effect. She felt a hand snaking across her waist. She looked up and smiled "hello there," she said. "hello yourself, beautiful" He grinned and led her away.
Nathan's POV
I staggered into the house before collapsing on the doorstep. Next thing I know Skylar is cleaning me up. I relished the feel of her on my chest, she hands me some knock out pills. She makes me have them, I see Dan behind her, he holds her waist and she smiles at him. I see them walk away before going out, she's lovely....
Teresa finished with Matty and went to find everyone else. Dan and Skylar were on the couch talking. "hi guys! How's Nate?" she asked. Skylar looked up "he's fine, I gave him some sleeping drugs, he's asleep" she said "how's Matty?". Teresa sagged "he's getting there. I got the bullet out, he's asleep too" she plopped on the armchair, Stella came, "hi, how's Nate and uncle Mathew?"she asked,"good" everyone answered simultaneously,
Three hours later
"Teresa! Skylar! Please help!" Nathan yelled, Teresa, Stella and Skylar ran upstairs, Nathan was on the bed, his sheets and shirt were covered in blood. Skylar undid his shirt and Stella went to buy bandages and gauze.
stella's POV
I took some money off the counter and dashed out the door, the general store is five streets away, if I hurry I might make it...., I ran and reached it in three minutes. I rushed to the medical Isle, I took one bottle of disinfectant, three gauze rolls, six bandages and a stitching kit. I ran to the cashier. I knocked into a guy, everything fell, I scrambled to grab everything and got up, so did he, "why hello there" He smiled, he had dark hair and eyes, he looked around her age, "hi" she said and blushed before rushing to the cashier
