YOUR POV:

I groaned, squinting my eyes, as the lights beams on my face. It wasn't long before my eyes adjusted to my surroundings.

I was in a giant living room filled with some couches with other children sitting on hanging out with each other or sleeping in peace. The fireplace made the room light up dimly yet I was still able to make out the regular items I would normally see in a big house.

While I was busy observing the room, I was unable to hear the sounds of footsteps approaching the left side of the bed I was laying on.

"Hey dearie,"
A soft feminine voice caught my attention as I turn to face the stranger. A woman in her long white nightgown looked down upon my defenseless figure.

"I see that you just woke up!"
She exclaimed with a small smile displaying on her face as she sat near the edge of the bed.

In the woman's hands was a bowl with a wet rag inside. She took the soggy rag out of the bowl with her right hand and squeezes the rag by twisting it as the water leaks from the moist material into the bowl. She then unfolds the rag, still a bit wet, and carefully taps my forehead with the rag.

"What's your name dearie?"
She asks as she continues to tap around my head.

"Y/N...ma'am"
I replied anxiously, wondering if the lady's intentions.

"What a beautiful name, Y/N. My name is Clara, Clara Stahlbaum. But Ms. Stahlbaum is also okay."
She said.

"Thanks, Ms. Stahlbaum"
You replied to her compliment.

"I found you unconscious somewhere, you poor thing was all covered in ashes and dirt."
She says with a sad tone in her voice.

"If it doesn't hurt to ask, what happened?"
I tried to think back of what happened moments before I was unconscious. However, when I tried, I couldn't seem to remember. No matter what I tried to think of, I still couldn't bring up not a single memory in mind.

"I don't know..."
I mumbled looking down to my feet clothed up by the blanket that covers my lower half.

"What do you mean"
She asked, confused with my reply.

"I can't remember anything..."
I mumbled again.

The woman's expression showed a sympathetic yet worried sign but nodded as she placed the rag back in the bowl before standing up again

"Everything's going to be alright. For now on I'll take good care of you!"
The woman smiled at you making you smile back at her. She seemed scary at first but her gentle voice and sweet like personality makes me feel comfortable.

"Well, supper is almost ready. I'll be right back okay?"
I nodded she walked away heading to where I assume the kitchen must be.
