3rd PERSON POV:
As the train made its way up north, through a snowy storm, you finally decided to break the silence between you and her.
"Are we really going to the North Pole?"
You turned to Esme, who just got interrupted from her cloud of thoughts. She hummed in response, nodding, before a smile growing ever so slightly on her face.
"It's where all these other animations on board are heading to as well"
She explains as her and they turn back to see the fictional characters behind us, all where in their seats chatting or laughing away.
"So that's what they are. Why would they wanna go to the North Pole?"
You questioned curiously.
"You see, the North Pole is sort of a gateway for the animations to come and leave the real world. It is even a sanctuary for them whenever they're in danger"
You 'oohed' in interest as Esme adjusted her beanie before continuing.
"You know, I once had younger sibling in my family which we loved each other dearly as our parents ruled over the monarch!"
"Esme?"
You then noticed Esme shifted her head away, breaking eye contact from you. Concerned, you placed your hand upon her back.
"It's complicated, I prefer not to think about it much"
She sighed.
You decided to try change the subject to cheer her up from her currently negative mood.
"So, since where in a train, don't we need tickets for it?"
Else snapped out from her daydream like she almost forgotten one more thing to say.
"Actually, you already have one! Check your pocket!"
She beamed which you raised a brow in confusion but did what she said.
You rummaged through your pockets just to pause when you felt paper in your left. Holding onto the paper material, you pulled it out as you admired its gold colored detail. It's not like regular tickets you receive when you go on a normal train. This train must be magical.
"Excuse me you two,"
The conductor—well technically a ringmaster, came up to our seats. Now seeing the person more clearly, his face was of a denture that old people would use and he had a ringmaster outfit.
"My bad for not introducing myself earlier but my names Caine! How about you?"
"I'm Y/N L/N"
You introduced yourself as you two exchange handshakes.
"Welcome aboard Mr/Ms L/N! may I need to see your guys ticket please?"
You and Esme gave him the tickets and he began to puncture it. Once he finished, he gave back your tickets. The first thing you noticed on your tickets where the holes from the puncture shaped as letter. Just a single letter.

What is that supposed to mean?
"HEY YOU!"
Someone's shouting from the other side of the room caught your attention, turning back to the seats beside yours.
"Me?"
You noticed the purple rabbit in his light pink overalls from earlier.
"Yes you! You do realize this is not some ordinary train right?"
The rabbit rested his arms on the seat in front of him as he leans slightly.
"Not that I really care if this is some sort of enchanting train. I just want to travel up North and try to see if I belong to family somewhere"
Jax glanced down on your figure, observing you closely.
"Uhh why are you looking at me like that?"
Weirded out by Jax's action, you looked at him funny. Jax hummed in interest and smirked.
"Little birdie told me your Y/N? Is their a last name that comes with it?"
Jax got up from his seat, approaching where your sitting.
"I know this sounds crazy but I don't know my last name or my past. I was found unconscious and I have very few memories before I was discovered"
You scratched your head from embarrassment but continued explaining.
"But I do have one clue however, and it's about Esmeralda"
You handed the book over to Jax. You thought that he'd stare at you judgmentally, but the book doesn't seem to bother him one bit. If anything, he was more fond.
"As a matter of fact, we are going to reunite the missing prince/princess to her family and Esmeralda to!"
A girl in a red dress spoke up, interfering in the conversation.
"Yeah, you do sort of resemble them. You look a lot like the missing prince/princess!"
The orange stick figure, sitting across of you also exclaimed.
"You even have the same E/C eyes, Esmeralda's eyes!"
A skeleton boy dressed in his blue sweater chuckled.
"Now hold up, are you guys saying that I'm the missing prince/princess of the North Pole!?"
You stated jokingly. Never in your life have you ever thought you could be royalty. Not dressed in the way you are anyway. You hummed unamused.
"At first I thought you guys where weird, but now I think you all are mad!"
"But you don't remember what happened to you, nor do we know what happened to the missing prince/princess! There are billions of people in the world, but not one of them looks as much as Esmeralda like you. Have you ever thought the possibility that you could be them!?"
A boy with black eyes brought a picture to you out of his pocket, revealing a family photo of the royal family.
What caught your eye the most of it was a younger Esmeralda hugging a younger child that was similar to you.
"Well, kinda hard to see yourself as a prince/princess when you where living a poor lifestyle but I suppose so"
A spark of hope Enlightened your heart. That could probably answer why you have such fascination for Esmeralda. Better yet, you'd finally found where you truly belong.
"THAT SUITES YOU RIGHT FOLKS, I PRESENT TO EVERYONE PRINCE/PRINCESS Y/N!!"
animations were lit with excitement and cheered with glee, they possibly could've found the long lost child of the North Pole.

Unbeknownst to everyone in the train, someone was stalking the fictional characters from the top of the roof, peaking through the crack of one of the windows.
"Prince/Princess Y/N? Alive? But I thought they where dead! All the L/N's are dead! I must report this to T̸̨̛̛͖̥͎̈͗̒͑̒̅̊̕h̸̜͔͈̹̹̯̗̘̽͠ͅë̷͓́̏͑̈́̀͝m̸͇̖̰͇͍̗̄̅̓͆̅̈̑͒̍͠ immediately!"
The creature flew away from the train, high into the harsh and cold weather flying into a cave situated on a the tallest mountain. The creature maneuvered its way towards a greenish light deep within the cave.
Deep inside was a giant meeting room with a giant green glowing globe sitting upon the middle of the table. There sat colorful humanoids in the seats.
The creature flew towards his owner sitting on the big throne like chair.
"MASTER, MASTER!"
The creature called out to him.
"Whatever is the matter, my pet?"
The baby blue skinned man said.
"Y/N, THEY LIVE!"
The creature cries.
