Luke woke up feeling happy. He woke up with an overwhelming feeling of joy and general bubblyness. He was glad today was a pink day.
He pulled back the lilac comforter from his body and and stood up stretching his long limbs out. He stumbled over to his closet to pull out an acceptable outfit for the way he was feeling today. That outfit consisted of blue skinny jeans, pink vans, a brightly colored bring me the horizon shirt, and most importantly his pink flower crown. He liked to match his flower crowns with the color he was feeling that day, too bad no one really knew that.
As he made his way to the door he could smell cinnamon rolls cooking for breakfast. Today was definitely going to be a good day.
-As Luke walked into first period he felt a pair of eyes burning into his back. As he looked in the direction the stare came from all he was met with was Ashton Irwin staring at him. Well that couldn't possibly be right.
There was absolutely no logical reason as to why Ashton would be staring at him.
They weren't friends, they were polar opposites, both in personality and popularity. So, of all people to be staring at Luke, he would have never said it would be Ashton. But life is full of surprises.
Luke was trying is absolute hardest to concentrate on this incredibly boring finance lecture, really he was, but who can blame him for daydreaming about Ashton instead. Any logical person would do that unless they were blind and had no idea how hot Ashton was.
But he can't get too carried away, after all today's a pink day, not a red day. So he begrudgingly tuned his ears back in to his teacher and hoped first period would end soon.
-After that hell hole of a class, the next time he saw Ashton was at lunch. Of course he got lucky enough to share the same lunch period as him AND have mutual friends. Sooo lucky.
Luke was walking towards his normal table where he saw Calum waving at him and when Ashton turned to look in the direction Calum was waving to, he instantly locked eyes with Luke. Don't trip, don't trip, please for the love of god don't trip in front of them. Luke was really hoping his quick prayer would work in his favor, even though he's not even remotely religious.
By some grace of whomever, Luke maintained eye contact, while keeping his tray between his two, albeit, shaking hands. He managed to sit down across from Calum and, of course, right next to Ashton.
To Luke, it seemed to be an incredibly red day for Ashton, but seeing as he himself was pink, that would just have to wait.
It was going to be hard for Luke to keep his colors to himself when he could read Ashton so well. But who knew if Ashton would be as understanding as his best friend Calum about who Luke really was.
Look forward to chapter 2
