Wine and Roses

It was a snowy day in the middle of December. Tecchou had loved the snow, Jouno on the other hand didn't.

He always hated the cold for messing with his senses. He despised it, but that didn't stop Tecchou from trying to get Jouno to go outside with him to play in the snow.

"Come on Jouno, you can't stay inside every winter." Tecchou said as he put on his coat, gloves, beanie and scarf. "You know I hate the snow so why bother trying to get me outside in it" Jouno snapped. "Because it's fun?" He answered for tecchou. "We're Hunting dogs, not children Tecchou." Jouno said as he sipped his wine glass as he sat in front of the fireplace but not close enough to burn himself. "Oh.. okay.." Tecchou said as he took off his gloves coat scarf and beanie before making his way to his room bedroom.

"Oh for gods sake.." Jouno sighed before he got up and went Tecchou's room. Tecchou was laying on his bed reading a book before he heard Jouno open the door. "Come on." Jouno said. "Where are we going?" Tecchou asked as he got off the bed and walked towards his friend. "Where do you think?" Jouno said. "Are we going to the store?" Tecchou asked.

"No." Jouno said as he put on his gloves coat scarf and hat as Tecchou did the same. "Then where are we going?" Tecchou asked confused before being pulled outside by Jouno. "Alright, what do we do now." Jouno asked as Tecchou finally got what was happening.

"Are- are you gonna play in the snow with me?" Tecchou asked happily. "Don't word it like that, it makes you sound childish." Jouno said as he turned his head away blushing slightly because of the cold. No other reason at all. Jouno then turned back to tecchou before grabbing some snow and balling it before before chucking it at Tecchou. "Y'know, maybe this can be fun" he said with a grin.

This baffled Tecchou as he grabbed some snow and did the same. Hitting Jouno right in the face. "ow!" Jouno chucked another snowball at Tecchou but missed. "Ha! You missed-" Tecchou said before getting hit in the face with a snowball. "There, now were even." Jouno said grinning before he grabbed some snow and started rolling it on the ground to collect more snow, before making a big enough ball before he did the same thing two more times. "What are you doing?" Tecchou asked. "Making a snowman." Jouno said as he continued to roll the ball of snow.

"We're Hunting Dogs, not children" he mocked playfully. As Jouno heard this he rolled up a snowball and chucked it right at Tecchou. "Don't mock me." He said, glaring at him with his unseeing eyes. Before going back to rolling more snow, in an attempt to make a snowman, even though he couldn't see how his progress was going.

"Do you need help?" Tecchou asked, hoping he could help Jouno in the frigid activity. "Sure, why not." Jouno said before hearing the crunch of the snow beneath Tecchou's boots. "How tall do you want it to be?" Tecchou asked. "Not sure, but tall enough that people can see it." Jouno answered. "Got it." Tecchou said while nodding once before beginning to roll up some more snow for the snowman. "Will this do?" Tecchou asked. "Couldn't tell you, I'm blind remember?" Jouno added. "Oh, yeah. Forgot about that, sorry" Tecchou apologized. "It's whatever." Jouno said as he added the other snowballs to the snowman as Tecchou smiled. "Why did your heart-rate increase?" Jouno asked. "N-No reason.." Tecchou answered, he knew he could never tell Jouno how he felt but he couldn't hold it to himself forever.
