Chapter 1

Kie's POV:

It's been two months and life has never been better. Jj and I have been inseparable ever since I ran away from home. Sarah and John b have been getting into fights recently, I'm not sure why though. Then there's pope and Cleo. They've been as close as anyone nowadays. It's really adorable. 

Sarah and I were shopping for school since we had to go back in a couple days.  We stopped by a coffee shop when a girl with green eyes and brown hair came up to us, "hi I'm so sorry to bother you but do you know where the crafts shop is? I need to pick up some things for school" she said, "oh uh yea, just take a right and it should be straight ahead" Sarah replied, "thank you so much..." she trailed off not knowing our names, "Kiara and that's Sarah" I interrupted giving her a slight smile, "hi I'm Sammy" she says shaking our hands. Sarah invited her to sit with us since we were going to the same store later. "So what school do you go to" "um I'm actually a new student, Yea I transferred from my home town back in Texas. I'm going to the Kildare high school and I'm kinda nervous" "omg! omg! We go there! We can totally introduce you to our friends so you won't be alone" Sarah practically screamed in front of her. "Really? I wouldn't want to be a bother" "no no no! It's no bother right kie?" Sarah says staring at me. I was hesitant to answer because we only just met the girl, but knowing Sarah she can't resist a new friend. "Uh no! No bother at all" I say as we kept the conversation going. 

We were heading back to the chateau with Sammy to introduce her to the gang. It was really weird considering she took the  passenger  seat next to Sarah which I usually where I sit but I didn't say anything. We arrived at the chateau were Pope, John b, and Cleo were. "Hey guys this is Sammy! She's new to town so I figured she could hang with us" Sarah stated as we were walking up to the three. "Sup Sammy I'm John B, that's cleo and that's pope. You'll meet jj later, he's out right now" John b replies. "Cool, nice to meet you" she says as we head inside. "So JB where is JJ" I asked breaking the silence "he went out to get food, said he'd be back in a bit" "oh, alright" I said taking a seat next to Cleo on the couch. We were watching Gilmore girls when we heard the door open, "hey I'm back shit bird" JJ says as he doesn't notice anyone. "Um, What about the rest of us" pope says, "oh shit! Don't do that man you scared the shit out of me" a frightened JJ says. I just laugh it off, typical JJ. "Hey Jayg this is Sammy she's gonna hang with us for couple days" Sarah notifies him. "Oh what's up I'm jj" he says shaking her hand. It's been a minute and she hasn't let go. Two....three.....four.....okay bitch let go! "Um Sammy?" I say breaking the awkward silence. Again. "Oh right sorry! Nice to meet you!" She says and finally let's go. JJ sat next to me but Sammy was still watching him. I ignored it. 

It's been a while into the show and I had to use the restroom, "be right back" I whispered heading into the restroom. I did my business and cleaned up a little. While I was looking in the mirror I noticed I gained a little weight. Crap. Sammy is as thin as a supermodel and I'm here looking like I just ate a whole zoo. Whatever. My friends love me like I am and that's all that matters. I walked out the restroom and noticed something that made my blood boil. Sammy took my seat next to my boyfriend. What the hell! I didn't want to seem like a jealous bitch towards the new girl. I knew they'd never forgive me if I acted like that. She was only here for a couple days, week max. That's final. I grabbed some snacks from the kitchen and sat in the floor next to Sarah. I was right below JJ and Sammy so it bothered me not knowing what was going on behind me. I heard giggling. Obviously It was Sammy, Cleo was knocked out on popes lap. Nothing funny happened on the show so she must have been laughing at something jj said. What could possibly be that funny. Before I could look back or say a single word I got a message on my phone. Shit. Shit. Shit. I got up and grabbed my bag, "sorry guys I have to go take care of something, I'll see you tomorrow" I said looking for my keys, "wait what's up? You look like you've seen a ghost" jj asks worried. I didn't want to tell home the truth especially with Sammy being present. "Um...nothing I just got to go. I'll be back later promise" I say with a forced smile which quickly fades when he slightly nods and turns his attention back to Sammy who's been nagging for his attention the whole time we were talking. Bitch. 

I was at the wreck were my parents texted me to meet them. I was waiting outside when I saw my dads truck pull up. "Kiara, come inside" "no. Tell me what you want but I'm not going anywhere with you" "okay, okay, I do t want to argue. Just listen" he says walking up to me. "Your mom is really sick and I can't take care of her alone. I need your help. Please, I already spoke to your mother about the whole sending you away thing and we decided to break it off. We don't want to lose you" he said trying not to let the  tears down. I felt bad and almost considered going back in that moment. I needed time. I can't trust them just yet, "I'll come from time to time but I just need time to fully trust you again" I said looking him dead in the eyes, "that's, that's okay, I just need as much help as I can get" "I'll see you tomorrow.....I love you dad" "love you too sweetheart" he replied giving me a hug. I headed back to the chateau after that trying not to make too much noise. Sarah and pope were still awake watching the show while everyone else was knocked out. "Hey kie What happened" Sarah asked turning her focus towards me, "um my mom....she's sick and my dad needs help taking care of her" "what? Your not going back are you" pope asked, "no no, definitely not. At least for now I'm not. I'm gonna go help them from time to time but I'm not staying with them, I can't" I said. I really needed jj right now but he was asleep.......with Sammy. "Um guys" I said tilting my head towards the two. "Oh shit" "sorry kie if I was paying attention I would've drove  her home" Sarah said "no no it's fine I just...... do you think she knows about me and jj?" "Um... I don't think so..." "probably not" they responded. "Well somebody better tell that bitch to back the hell off" they chuckle at each other before turning their attention back to me, " domt get mad at jj, he doesn't know when a girl is..... well doing that" "you mean coming onto him?" "Yea" pope lets out. "It's okay, I know it's not his fault" I sighed before talking again, "I'm gonna sleep on the hammock tonight, I do t want to be here when that wakes up" I said pointing to the sleeping pair. Damn it . How could I let this slide? Sammy should know not to go for someone she just met especially someone with a girlfriend. I hate her. I hate her pretty eyes. Her pretty brown straight hair. Her slim body. I hate everything she has that I don't. Everything jj might want to trade in for. Speaking of jj. How could he not see what she's doing ? How could he not mention he has a girlfriend for God's sake?! I need to sleep this off. "Night kie" "sweet dreams" I heard from the two remaining pouges. "Night guys" I said taking a blanket outside with me. I fixed myself up in the hammock and dozed off.
