A Small Dance

kaeya and y/n were rivals every since they met each other. y/n never liked kaeya since he would always tease and mess around with her, but the bad thing is.. both of them like ice skating, and when u guys go practice for the upcoming shows. they often bump into each other. which irritates y/n. she hates seeing him.

one day, y/n went to the ice skating rink to go try and practice for an upcoming show. she heard that she will be preforming with someone. she was excited to see who it was, and this was her first time preforming with someone. she waited for them to come so she could practice with them. but when she saw who it was. her jaw dropped.
the person that y/n had to preform with was kaeya. "fancy to see u here, y/n" Kaeya said.
y/n stayed quiet. she was to shocked to even say one word (the women was too stunned to speak. lmao)
"seems like we're preforming together, and it also seems like someone doesn't want to." kaeya teased.
kaeya patted her on the head since he knew it would me her go boom."i'm going to drop u on the floor." y/n threatened.
"more like i'm gonna drop u on the floor."
"i would literally go jump from a 10 foot building and land on a pile of nails then dance with u."
"i don't wanna do this either. but if we don't then we can't preform. and if we don't preform we'll lose our spot."
"well i'd rather lose my spot then have ur hands all over me."
"do i care? no. i just wanna keep my spot."
"so do i! but i don't wanna dance with u! this has to be a mistake."
"i thought it was too. but it wasn't. now i wanna punch myself in the face."
y/n rolled her eyes, and crossed her arms. she was annoyed, and didn't want to be with him. "do i really have to dance with u?" asked y/n.
"yeah u have too." kaeya respond.
"ugh. fine."
kaeya stuck out his hand to help y/n up but she didn't take his hand. she ended up just walking over to the rink without a problem. kaeya rolled his eyes. he thought she was being mean. kaeya then started to walk over ti the rink, and got in. "well now let's go practice the dance." kaeya said.
kaeya skated over to y/n and took her hand. he put his hand on her waist. not really doing anything weird.

they practice for a while and y/n was not really getting the chorus. but kaeya was. "ugh no y/n! u have to hold my hand.  then let go and do some flips and then go back to holding my hand." kaeya exclaimed.
"ughhh but i literally don't want to do this. especially with u." y/n pouted.
"just keep practicing and maybe u will get better then u already even are."
"i'm better then u at least."
"i'm definitely better then u and we all know that." kaeya hit her on the head.
"ow! what was that!" y/n screamed.
"a hit on the head for being bratty." kaeya replied.
"maybe i'm not bratty and u just can't handle me."
"i can. ur just so bratty."
"ugh. i had enough practice for today. i'm leaving."
y/n let go of kaeya's hand and skated her way out of the rink. "whatever u say." kaeya said quietly and shrugged his shoulders.
he also started he get out of the rink and approached
y/n. "sooooo y/n, what are u doing after this?" he asked.
"none of ur business that's for sure,"
"cmon. at least just let me know something"
"why should i?"
"cuz what if we need to practice and i don't know where u are?"
"ugh u know i'll always be here. u see me all the time when i practice."
"but what if i don't?"
"forget it, i'm leaving."
y/n then left without thinking twice about it.
kaeya chased after her and pulled y/n's shirt. stopping her from leaving. "just give me ur number so i can call u so we could practice together." kaeya begged.
"fine fine but once i do can u stop bothering me?!?!"
y/n burst.
"yea yea whatever." kaeya rolled his eyes.
kaeya handed his phone to her so she could put in her phone number in his phone. y/n took his phone and put her number in his phone, and gave it back to him, "now please, please leave me alone." y/n begged.
"fine, i won't bother u anymore." kaeya responded.
y/n walked out of the ice skating rink place and went to a cafe that was near the ice rink and ordered a cup of tea and a muffin. she sat down at a empty table and waited for her food to arrive. little did she know that kaeya was watching from a distance.
y/n got her food, and took a bite out of the delicious muffin she ordered while watching tiktok on her phone. she drank the tea and it was also as good as the muffin.
she stared out the window and saw kaeya staring at her. "what the.." y/n whispered to herself. she finished her food fast. payed for the food. and felt fast.
kaeya stood there but didn't move. just staring at y/n as she left.
y/n decided to go hang out with one of her friends. she called one of her girls but they said they were busy. she called one of her guy friends and they answered. "hello?" her guy friend said.
"hi, do u want to go hang out with me?" y/n asked.
"of course." he replied.
"ok, meet me up at the mall." y/n told him.
"ok, i'll see u there."
"byeeee."
y/n then hung up the phone. and walked to the mall that was not far from where she was at. but little did she also know.. kaeya was trying to catch up to her to ask her something. again.
she made it to the mall and waited for her guy friend to come. kaeya lost her and was looking around everywhere to find her.
y/n's guy friend finally shows up to the mall and found y/n. "hi!!!! u finally cameee." y/n said and hugged him.
"aw, did i take long?" asked the guy, as he hugged her back and rubbed her head.
"yes, no, maybe." y/n responded.
the guy just giggled and pulled y/n out of the hug. "let's go shopping, i'll pay." he said.
"huh? really? i brought money for no reason?" asked
y/n.
"i really don't mind paying."
"are u sure?"
"yes i'm sure. i'll buy u anything."
"thank u!! for that i'll buy u something in return."
"aw really?"
"mhm, why not?"
"fine, fine get me something."
