Fast forward to high school, where the echoes of the kindergarten playground seemed like a distant memory. Savannah navigated the crowded halls, trying to blend in, but fate had a way of bringing the past back with a vengeance.
As she turned a corner, there he was – alex, the boy from her childhood, now grown into a teenage tormentor. He smirked, a cruel glint in his eyes as he intercepted her path. "Remember me, little tag-along?" he sneered.
The memories of their kindergarten escapades rushed back, but this time, the game had changed. Alex, now a master of mockery, taunted her with cutting remarks. Savannah, no longer the timid five-year-old, stood her ground, but the scars of childhood lingered.
"Just 5 more minutes of peace," she wished silently, as the high school hallway became a battleground of past and present, where the echoes of a childhood game had morphed into something far more challenging.
