Chapter 6: Four Elemental Islands

Standing in the air, Momonga and Chu Yi looked at the Grassland Island and the mortals below.

They had thought of how to merge into this world, without drawing too much attention. Their relation between the Greek Pantheon had increased and many famous Greek heroes had visited the Four Elemental Islands as a sign of coexistence between the two factions.

Trade was conducted between the mortals of both factions. People from Greece would enter the islands, to have children or people of the islands would enter Greece. It was the image of peace, but if one was observate, one could sense the powder of war on the horizon.

Of course, all their actions have been monitored by the Floor Guardians, and demons such as Shadow Demons. Everything they did and every word exchange was recorded to be reviewed at a later date. In plain words, Nazarick didn't trust these outsiders.

The worries are not unfounded as they still don't know the capabilities of the gods. Do they have limits on their power like Players? Can they reach beyond level 100?

In the decade of being in this world, Nazarick has been busy dealing with terraforming the Four Elemental Islands. They created land between the islands, to connect them.

One must be asking why is there a need to terraform the islands if the descent of Nazarick in this reality causes changes to its environment? That's true, the once barren island that Nazarick is located on, had transformed into a vast grassland island, thus the name Grassland Island.

The other three islands had to be transformed manually through spells. This is why there is an Ice Island, Desert Island and Pantheon Island, which host the fake tomb.

Each terraformed island cost a massive amount of gold coins, making the once impressive Treasury of Nazarick to show a noticeable dip in volume. This causes Chu Yi and Momonga's heart to bleed with pain as the value of these coins are no longer at price value.

The coins were able to resurrect NPCS, which means as long as there are gold coins, there is an infinite amount of NPCs to use. That's why it's unwise to use too much of a finite resource. At least until one can replace it.

Not long ago, while discussing the plans of the Nazarick Pantheon, Chu Yi and Momonga were notified about the discovery of a gold mine on Grassland Island. This was the reason why they were in the air using <Perfect Unknowable>.

Since the gold mine was on the island with the real Nazarick, they had to make sure no one was observing them. Thankfully, none of their passives or counters felt the presence of Divination or other spells. Though they wondered if the gods had ways around their skills?

"I wonder how much this gold mine will amount to? If it's 1-1, that would be perfect but I doubt it would be easy." Chu Yi sighed with worry. Even with the gold coins inside the Eternal Expanse, they would still go bankrupt if Nazarick ran at full power for a long time. However, turning off functions of the tomb would cause Nazarick to become vulnerable. Which means they have to find means to acquire Yggdrasil coins to make sure Nazarick is always at 100%.

"Time is the only thing we need. If we are given a hundred years, we could turn around our situation." A pity that even with that time, they would not be able to develop greatly as they are limited to their domain and cannot steal resources from other domains.

"Time is still precious to us. Let's stop worrying about this for now. No matter how we ponder, it still won't change anything." Chu Yi shook his head. They have been talking about this for ten years and still there are no results.

Speaking of, the Four Elemental Islands are in a different timezone than the rest of the world. Because the thought of needing more time sprouted, they had to use Super Tier Spell <Wish Upon The Stars> to make time move faster than the outside world. That would mean that while a decade passed on the islands, only a day passed in the outside world. Thankfully, the time difference could be controlled by Nazarick, so they didn't fear being notice by other factions.
