"Y/nnn" i heard like an echo
i scrunched my face
"wake up sleepy head its role call time" miguel said
i sat up and rubbed my eyes. the first time without my mask. that's the first. and the sleep was actually pretty good.
"come on, we gotta see if your dog made on broadway!" he said getting up from my bed
i opened my eyes.
"oh god it's so bright in here" my voice croaked
"did you have a nice sleep?"
"better than ever."

After kicking miguel out for a short moment so i could get ready, i plopped myself back on the bed and hurried to check my phone for an email.
i told him by my scream is when he'll know if sky got the part or not.
i quickly told sky to come with me on my bed as i patted the spot then turned my attention back to the phone.

"ahhh omg here it issss..."
"WHAT?"
"YAY! ohhhh wait that's not a scream" miguel said barging in
i stared at my screen in disbelief
"did she not get the part?"

"here let me see" miguel said grabbing my phone.
"hm. it's says they weren't sure if they wanted sky or oakley to be the dog for dorothy so they want both of you to come to rehearsals and see who isabella works with better"
