⚠️-Endgame spoilers kind of.

3rd person •POV•

"I am inevitable!" Thanos snapped his fingers but to everyone else's amusement, nothing happened.

Everyone's gaze landed on Tony, who was now in possession of the stones. "And I..am..Iro-"

"MR. STARK NO!" Suddenly a web launched and snatched the infinity stones from Tony.

"KID WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Peter stared at his hand with sadness in his eyes. "I CAN'T LOSE ANOTHER ONE!" Peter started to tear up as he looked up at Tony.

Tony tried to understand what he meant by 'I can't lose another one'. But then he heard the words that would forever haunt him.

"I...am-" "WAIT KID DON'T!" Tony started booking it and trying to stop Peter. "... Spider-Man."

"PETER!" Tony reached out his hand and tried to grab the stones back.

"goodbye dad." Peter whispered right before he snapped his fingers.

Tony was just a couple feet away from Peter before he was blinded by a white light.

When the white light disappeared the aliens had all disintegrated, Thanos was gone, everyone started helping their families, and all seemed to be well...

For Tony however, he was rushing towards Peter.

"PETER!" Tony saw Peter and ran over to him. He picked him up from the ground but was devastated when Peter's body was cold and his face was void of life.

"Pete? Kid? Hey, we won. You saved us. You saved the universe." Tony started to cry, "y-you can wake up now kid." Tony spoke with hope in his voice. "Please kid, Peter please!" Tony begged as the hope in his voice drained.

"PETE COME ON WE NEED YOU! NO, I NEED YOU!" Tony hugged Peter tightly. "Please, come back to me, son." Tony's sobs grew louder as he clutched the kid, no, as he clutched HIS kid closer.

(Time Skip: Peter's funeral)

Tony Stark was the one person everyone expected to come to Peter Parker's funeral. In actuality he was the only one who didn't.

Tony couldn't go, if he had gone then it would feel all too real for him. Then it would be official that his son, was dead.

He didn't want to believe it, he didn't want to accept it. So he never went to Peter's funeral, he never visited Peter's grave, and whenever he talked about Peter he would refer to him as if he was actually still alive.

That is, until one day.

(Time Skip: 3 years later)

Tony needed to clear his head. His life had become so stressful without....him...so he walks over to the one place he never dared go. To the one person who could always cheer him up...

Peter Benjamin Parker-Stark

"With great power, comes great responsibility."

To Peter's grave...

"Hey son. I'm here."
