Window Seat

Fatima is a 20 year old LPN. She hasn't really been taking any time off from work due to her wanting to make extra money. Since it's Christmas time and she hasn't seen her family in almost two years, she decided to surprise them by coming home.

She called her bestfriend (Lori) before she left.

On the phone-

Lori: are you nervous about going home?

Fatima: *takes a deep breath* a little. I heard that Andi had a baby and everything. I missed so much. I missed you too.

Lori: I've missed you too. It seems like forever since we've seen each other. I want you to move back home.

Fatima: we'll talk about that when I get there

Zac is a 20 year old salesman and he works at Kroger. He's also I college student. He left for college in ATL and didn't make his return, but he plans on coming home for Christmas.

He's currently packing up to head to High point, North Carolina. Upon his arrival to the airport, he went through TSA, which took forever.

He boarded the plane and placed his carryon up top. He sat by the window. He was happy that he had the row to himself.

A few minutes later, a young lady came and sat her bag above the seat.

"Why is it every time I fly delta, somebody is in my seat?" She asked

He looked around at the people around him trying to figure out who she was referring to.

"Who?" Zac questioned

"You" she said

"This is my seat. I'm not in your seat. If you would like the seat, you can have it but no need for your attitude"

"Respectfully, it was already my seat. You can have the seat. I'm cool with sitting right here. I don't have an attitude either."

"You do. You rolled your eyes when you got on this plane. Obviously, you want the seat more than I do"

"I really don't have time to argue with you. The seat is yours, damn"

"I can't stand people with nasty attitudes."

A guy walked up to the row. "That's my seat" he said to Zac.

Zac and Fatima laughed. "Guess it's neither one of our seats."

"You can have the seat, I see that you guys are already situated."

Ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon!Welcome aboard flight 1798. This is Captain John Davis speaking, and I have some information about our flight. Our flight time today will be 1:35 and our estimated time of arrival in charlotte, North Carolina is 2:44 local time.

The plane took off and Fatima put her headphones in. She ended up falling asleep. On the other hand, Zac was writing the entire flight.

Once the plane landed, they all exited the plane. Fatima got into her Uber and it brought her to their family home.

She stepped out of the car and she felt really cold. It wasn't the coldness outside. There was a huge cloud covering the house. Lori ran out to her.

"I've missed you so much" she hugged her tightly

"I missed you too! It's been hella long"

"It has, why are you just standing out here?"

"I'm nervous, and the energy is weird."

"My energy?" Lori questioned

"No, you see that cloud over the house? The energy is weird."

"It's supposed to rain today. I think that's what it is."
