Zac- not necessarily, but I actually like seeing you

Fatima- I might have a free hour tomorrow. I'll let you know

Zac- okay, goodnight❤️

Fatima- goodnight❤️

*the next morning*

Although it's 10 in the morning, Ayla still didn't wake up. Fatima started cleaning up the house. Her doorbell rang. She looked out of the peephole and it was Madam. She let her in. "Hey, I know that you were busy with Ayla yesterday. I can watch her today. Go do something that makes you happy"

"I'm going to the nail shop" Fatima slightly chuckled

"Okay, take as long as you want. I don't have nowhere to be."

"Thank you"

Fatima ended up leaving. While she was sitting in the chair, she decided to text Zac.

Fatima- hey, I have a few hours to spare. Are you busy?

Zac- I'm at work. I won't be off til 7 tonight. I'm about to take my lunch in an hour.

Fatima- where do you work? If you feel comfortable with answering

Zac- Publix in Fayetteville

Fatima ordered him lunch. She noticed that he ordered Panera bread while he was in the airport, so that's what she ordered him. She sent him the DoorDash details to make sure that he got his food.

*in Publix*

Ayla started pointing.

"Ayla, it's not nice to point at people. You don't know him." Madam said

"I know him. He's sisters friend."

"Hm, I've never heard of her having any friends out here. You sure?"

"Yes, he's the plane man"

Madam decided to text Fatima.

Madam- Ayla said that you have new friends.

Fatima-new friends?

Madam- a male friend.

Fatima-oh, she's talking about the man that I met on the plane. She talks too much😂

Madam- she only said it because she just seen him

Fatima- you're at Publix?

Madam- yes

Fatima- y'all better leave him alone! Do not go over there and talk to him Marilyn

Madam- fine🙄

Five days have passed and Ayla is getting used to living with Fatima. So far, Ayla has stopped repeating some of the things that Mona used to say to her. Fatima filed documents against Mona first child abuse and neglect.

Zac and Fatima finally got the chance to meet up yesterday. They both enjoyed their time together.

*Tony's apartment*

"You need to start dating, your wife can't find you staying at home" Tony said

"I'm too young for all that. Plus, I'm always at work and school. I'm too busy to be trying to date."

"What about the girl that you met, y'all just friends?"

"Yes, stop asking about her every two minutes. Don't let me find out that you're trying to date her."

"I only bring her up cause you be acting like you don't like her."

"I'd have to like her in order to hang around her."

"You know what I meant. Like LIKE her"

"I'm starting to think that you never listen to a word that comes out of my mouth. I said that we're friends."

"You're lying, be real."

"You stay in my business."

"Fine, I'm not saying nothing else about her."

*Fatimas apartment*

"Tima, can we have chicken again?" Ayla said

"Yes, we can eat out if you want."

"Okay"

"Can I open a Christmas toy?"

"You have to wait til the day before Christmas. That's when you can open one gift."

"But I've never opened one before, please?"

"I guess you can open one."

"Yay, I want to open that one" Ayla pointed

"Grab it" Fatima said

She picked it up and ripped it open. There was a Barbie doll in it. "I love her already. I can do her hair"

"Yes, you can. There's another gift that goes along with that one, but you'll have to wait."

"Best sister in the world" Ayla ran in the room. Fatima's phone started ringing. It was Zac so she answered.

"Whose hand is that in the background?" Fatima asked

"You don't even greet me when you answer the phone. Straight questions, huh?"

"I'm just asking cause you said that you have one friend, but I'm looking at a hand."

"It's not a hand, it's a towel actually. You're seeing the shadow from the side of my Christmas tree."

"Oh, okay."

"You checking me now?"

"I'm just making sure that you're good" she laughed

"I have a question and I want you to answer it honestly."

"What is it?"

"I need you to come over so that I can ask you. You tend to put the phone down and start smiling."

"Now you're making me nervous. What's the question? You feeling me to or what?"

"You just told me everything that I needed to know. I don't even have to ask."

"What do you mean?"

"You let it slip already and you don't even remember saying it."

"What did I say?"

"You just said that you were feeling me. I was going to ask you if you were. I'm feeling your vibe."

"I guess I can stop ignoring your text messages now."

"You stopped talking because you're feeling me? Why didn't you just say something?"

"That's how you get hurt. Once you tell somebody that you're feeling them, they start using it against you in a way."

"I'd never do that, especially cause I'm feeling you too. Niggas be on that little kid shit, but that's not happening over here."

"I actually love how different you are. You stand apart from the rest. I don't know many people that are as kind, respectful, and open as you."

"We're both different. Personally, I've never had a female friend that listens the way you do. You'll go the extra mile for everybody around you."

"It's honestly hard to find genuine people. We've only known each other for a short amount of time, but there was something that had me sit next to you on the plane. I'm still standing on the fact that it was my seat though."

"That wasn't your seat, I looked at my boarding pass and it was mine. I'll let you have it though."
