"?"

"???"

"????"

The viewers in the live broadcast room bombarded the chat with question marks after seeing that comment.

Some had thought Chu Qian was truly part of a black market trade, just doing a live broadcast on a whim. But the comment stirred up a storm of speculation.

They realized there was another possibility: she might have just been bluffing, relying on her confidence in her physical abilities and the information she gathered while roaming the market.

She was literally playing with fire! It was an audacious move!

The nerve it took to pull off such a convincing act under those circumstances was astounding. Her demeanor, her quick responses, and her handling of the situation were flawless.

Anyone unaware of the truth would believe she was genuinely there for a transaction. The aura she exuded seemed like that of a seasoned player in the underworld, someone who had made a name for themselves after years of struggle. She lacked neither oppressiveness nor calm.

The live broadcast viewers all started commenting on Chu Qian's actions, impressed by her nerve and quick thinking.

Meanwhile, at the Shanghai Market Management Bureau, everyone was speechless as they watched the live broadcast. After a long silence, Old Yang spoke up.

"Can any of you match her reaction and decision-making in that situation?"

His tone was calm, having accepted the girl's capabilities after a series of shocks. He wanted his team to learn from her.

"Don't just think about your subordinates. Could any of you make such perfect decisions in her place?" he asked again, but no one responded.

"Relying on her physical strength to bluff like that... What a bold move," Old Yang sighed, accepting their silence.

"This is indeed the talent Old Cao is looking for, but it's a pity she's not related to us."

Old Yang held a report with Chu Qian's name on it. It detailed everything from her photo to her ID number, address, and life history.

Clearly, she was just a simple, unremarkable live streamer. Not a private detective, not a secret military personnel, nor a mysterious heiress. Just an ordinary university graduate from a small town who became a live streamer, even without a signing agency. Her resume was as clean as a blank sheet, indistinguishable among those of recent college graduates.

Yet, her performance in that small market was something not even the entire Shanghai Market Management Bureau could match.

...

Meanwhile, Chu Qian had arrived at the location the shopkeeper directed her to. It looked like a flour warehouse, but she faintly heard the sound of machinery from an unknown direction.

The warehouse door was tightly shut, without even a crack to peek inside. Next to it was a security room, apparently controlling access to the warehouse.

After some thought, Chu Qian spotted a convenience store nearby and promptly went in.

"Shopkeeper, two Lotus cigarettes and a bottle of special liquor, please!"

The store manager was surprised to see a young girl asking for these items but handed them over anyway.

"Thank you, shopkeeper!" Chu Qian interrupted him as she paid and left quickly, not giving him a chance to gossip.

"Her face seems familiar," the shopkeeper mumbled, then shrugged it off to attend to other customers.

Chu Qian, now with her items, knocked on the security room's door.

"Uncle, Uncle, please open the door!"

She spoke softly to the security guard inside. Seeing Chu Qian, he came out to check.

"I'm here to deliver something to Brother Chen," Chu Qian said, somewhat shyly.

"Oh, I see, but Brother Chen isn't here today, it's not convenient to let you in," the guard replied with a knowing smile.

"Oh, Brother Chen has helped me a lot, but he never accepts my gifts," Chu Qian said, her face showing embarrassment. She then pulled out two packs of good cigarettes from her pocket and handed them to the guard.

"Could you make an exception?"

Her smile was innocent, and the guard, won over, agreed, pressing the remote to open the warehouse door.

"Wow, she got in just like that?"

"I've learned something new today."

"This teaches me not to trust strangers, especially beautiful women like the host."

"Hahaha, you're wrong, my friend. The ways of the world aren't about fighting, but about human relations."

The live broadcast room erupted with comments, everyone chiming in with their takes on Chu Qian's latest move.
