I quickly got dressed, put my makeup on, and threw my hair up in a messy top knot. As I was running down the stairs, I tripped, and the boxes in my hands went flying out of my hands.
Emily?! Is everything okay?!? asked my dad concertevly
Yeah, I just fell. I leaned forward holding my back, I tried to get up, but I fell to the bottom of the stairs, and landed on some boxes.
EMILY?!?! Oh My Gosh What has gotten in to y- JAKE!!! GET OVER HERE NOW!!!! Mom yelled
Dad came running over to where we were. WHA- OH MY LORD EMILY ARE YOU OKAY?!?
We need to get her to the hospital!!! Mom said panically.
What? Why?! I quickly asked looking around to possibly find out what was wrong, then I found it, I had broken my right ankle. I started to cry, I didn't know what to do, or how it happened, but my dad picked me up and put me in the car to go to the hospital. As we were driving there, I got a text from my best friend Dezarea

We finally got there, and my dad picked me up and ran me into the hospital, sat me on the desk and told them what happened and that I needed emergency assistance. They had put me in a wheel chair and put me in a room, as they were giving me the numbing shot and a I.V. I got a text from Dezarea

Now the only thing we could do is play the waiting game. We waited and waited and waited. Then we heard a knock on the door, I thought it was Dezarea, but it was the doctor coming to get me, so that I can go get surgery for my ankle. As they were rolling the bed I was in down the hall, I seen Dezarea I told her to go meet my parents in the room. As I reached the surgical room, I started to panic because one I have never had surgery before and two I seen the tools they were going to use on me.

Honey, your mom is in the room she can’t come, I’m going to have to ask you to watch this balloon over here and take deep breaths.
My eye lids were getting heavier and heavier, and then I was asleep.
When I woke up, I was in my room. I didn’t see my parents or Dezarea. I turned on the TV and waited for them to get back.
I was thinking of how it’s going to be at the new school, and the new house. I thought of how hard its gunna be for me, seeming that I have a broken ankle and that I won’t know anyone there. I also thought of who is going to help me get around, help me carry my books, and my food. Moving is going to be horrible, I’m moving half way across the United States.
