Chapter 3: wait What

That figure. It stood too still it was almost copying me. Just to make sure it wasn't a mirror I changed into a firefly and sure enough so did the figure. But I still wasn't convinced that it was just a mirror. So I ran straight at it to hear an 'oomph' from someone. "Who are you?" I whisper shouted and I didn't get the reply I was hoping for. "Get off I can't breath!" I rolled off and asked again. "Names Danny. What's yours?"

"Lilly... But out of curiosity how did you change? And why aren't you at home?" I was seriously thinking it was pretty damn awesome that he could do what I can do. But didn't that mean he was being chase too?

I was snapped out of my thoughts when Danny started talking.

"We'll I was born with a gift when I was five I found out I was different, when I was eight I found I had powers; when I was 12 I had to leave to stay with my uncle here in New York and now Some kind of police force is chasing me. I don't have a home any more the chasers took my uncle and I've been running ever since."

I was shocked I must have shown it because he asked "what's wrong?" HE HAD THE EXACT SAME STORY AS ME!!!!! "Well I don't really need to tell you you my story"

"Why is that?"

"You have the exact same story as me except I stayed with my aunt"

There was a very awkward silence that followed. "Do you live here?"

"Ya I live here"

"Can I stay here for a the night?"

"Sure, stay here as long as you want... I miss having someone to talk too" he trailed off at the last part and started blushing like crazy. Now I come to think of it he is really cute, WHOA! what did I just say?! I haven't felt like this for at least seven years it was crazy. But I can't help it. He has the most gorgeous eyes they are soft caramel colour. His hair was like chocolate it looked so smooth and bouncy. Man, I am hopelessly in love.

Later that night after I fell asleep I had a nightmare.

It was a beautiful day and I was walking in a field when I saw him. Danny. He looked amazing and as I raced up towards him I noticed that the weather was changing. Clouds started covering the sky. I got to him and he just scowled. He kicked me in the gut and shoved me onto the ground. "Who would like an ugly bitch like you?" He spat at me. I was hurt I felt horrible and the next minute I was in front of my parents and I don't think they noticed me but they were talking about the most hurtful subjects. "Wow life has been great ever since we got rid of Lilly. Right?"

"Of course it has I mean no more little whining bitches around to stop our evening plans". Once more the scene changed an I was stark naked and chained to the ground in a dark room there were lots of voices. And then I heard a zip and I realized what was about too happen

I woke up screaming. Footsteps were coming towards me when the footsteps stopped I heard a soothing voice. It sounded like silk. Soon after Danny started talking to me I fell into a dreamless sleep.

--Danny's point of view--

* when he first sees Lilly*

Wow she is beautiful. Her eyes are the most amazing I've ever seen. They are a bright green with teal flecks. Her hair is as black as midnight without the stars. Her face is just so perfect. After our long conversation I found out she was almost exactly like me. I was confused but in love. I fell asleep thinking about her.

---Danny's nightmare---

I was walking in a forest. I saw Lilly standing by a tree and she looked like she was talking to someone. I walked around and saw my old best friend

Then after I saw her glance at me she leaned in and kissed my old bestie. After a what seemed like forever my heart shattered in all directions. He saw me then ran then Lilly turned around and growled "you should have listened to your parents" *scenery change/flashback * I was nine and I told my patents about my first crush they just laughed cruelly and spat "nobody will ever love you" I was crying so hard. Once again the scene was changing...

----nightmare over----

I woke up to a blood curling scream. Lilly. I ran over and calmed her down and soon enough she fell asleep again. I tried to sleep but it was impossible I tried so hard but by the time dawn came I was as close to sleep as I could. Semiconscious. I was so close till someone splashed me with water. "Aww c'mon! I was just about to fall asleep again"

"well you had all night you know" she giggled

"No because someone woke me up. Don't worry it definitely wasn't you. Note the sarcasm" I said sticking my tongue out like a toddler. She blushed a deep scarlet and I laughed at her. We fooled around for a while. I was just about to ask what her nightmare was about but my stomach growled. Three nights ago was when I finished my last supply of food. "Make me a sandwich" I ordered Lilly

"Why should I?"

"Because your a girl and that's your job"

"Sexist!" She shouted before running off "AM NOT!!" I screamed running after her. we went on like this for a hour. When she l FINALLY made me my sandwich. She pulled out her wallet and I gasped "how did you get that money?" I asked

"Simple. I...Got...A...Job. It's not that hard you know"

"Fine... Hey why don't we settle down I'll get a job while you stay here, clean up the place an make me food. Does that sound good or what?" Lilly looked at me very unamused bad ore saying "why don't we both clean up the place now and both get jobs so we can get double the money" I have to admit she is pretty smart. "Fine let the cleaning begin!"
