"You take trains?" I gasp playfully and he pushes me slightly, rolling his eyes.
"What, Noah Lawson can't take trains?" He raises his eyebrow at me as we walk towards the train station.
"I wouldn't if I owned a limo" I say and we both laugh, "so you take the train to work all the time?"
"No" he says sheepishly, "I just don't want my bodyguard following us around and my work isn't based here"
"What? Why do you have a studio here then?"
"I love New York so I come as much as I can" he says with a smile and I say no more but follow him into the train station.
It was very quiet, only a few people walking around and waiting for trains luckily. A couple of people gave us funny looks or stared at Noah in surprise but no one bothered us thankfully.
"This is our train" he announces as it pulls up. I jump on and he follows to the nearest seats. He sinks in his chair next to me and sighs. I notice an old lady opposite us, peering at us through her glasses and a couple a few seats further up. Other then that there's no one else here.
"Excuse me are you Noah Lawson?" the old lady asked squinting like theres no tomorrow.
"The one, the only" he sends her a flashy grin and she smiles wearily back.
"Oh my granddaughter just loves you! You know, you should meet her. She's a lovely looking girl very interested-"
"I'm sorry mam but my girl is sitting right next to me" he chuckles, putting his arm around me interrupting the lady, and I snap my head up in surprise. What is he doing?
"Oh we're not together" I interject pushing him off me and the lady frowns at me.
"Course we are" he grins again, "she's embarrassed to be seen with me" he says, dropping the grin and sighing softly.
I dig my elbow into his ribs telling him to cut it out but his mouth just twitches, desperate for laughter.
"It's a shame, my granddaughter would never treat you like that" she rambles on and I mentally groan.
"And how old is your grand-" Noah says and I elbow him, hard. "OW" He belts at me and I shoot him a look, "OW Oh I'm just kidding, babes" he saves himself and I roll my eyes.
The train suddenly stops and Noah stands up, declaring this was our stop.
"Lovely to meet you" Noah says to the lady and I stand up too, hovering next to him.
"You seem like a lovely boy, I hope she treats you right" she says and he nods, smirking at me.
"Of course I do, honey bun" I say, standing up for myself and squeeze past him ready to get of this god damn train.
Noah follows me, cracking out laughter even when he see's that I'm not impressed. "You sure interest the older ladies' I rub in.
"Someone jealous?" he teases and I have to look away because I'm blushing. Why am I blushing?
"Whatever lets go" I say and storm ahead rejecting the new feelings that I'm having because clearly it would never happen between us. Right?
