The clock strikes midnight and Kei grew anxious. Her eyeballs never left the vintage grandfather clock that has been standing in the middle of the spacious living room in her mansion. With every passing second, the more intense her nail bitting is. It's now, five minutes past midnight and her pounding heart about to explode. She doesn't know how long has she been staring at that old clock, fidgeting while pacing back and forth. Her frown even left a mark in the middle of her forehead.
Even before Vegas and Macau moved into the Carozza's family from the Theerapanyakun household, they were already on each others neck. Moreover now that Porchay also decided to come join the family, the tension just skyrocketed. Kinn and Porsche kept sending spies to not only watch Chay but also the Carozza's. It annoys Kei but she knew better about her family's security capabilities. It is one of the best and adding to that, her family is the most powerful and influential family in the country thus worrying about her family safety, is the least she's concern about.
However, Kei is still a human being. As much as she's at ease with all the high tech security systems, her well trained bodyguards and assassins, she couldn't help but still worry about her family, about him. She knows he could beat up a hundred gangsters alone but, she couldn't help feeling anxious when he didn't arrive home at the time he promised. Though she knows that he's a tough man that have been through a shit ton of bullshit from his own family, she couldn't help but to cry over him whenever she saw him sitting alone around her mansion.
Oh, the think Kei would do for this man is unthinkable. Falling over heel for this guy is an understatement for the youngest daughter of the Carozza family. She loves him but being Kei, she would never confess that out loud. A part of her wants to marry him so bad and the other is afraid. Afraid of rejection. Afraid of what will their friendship become if she confesses. Will he act normally after she confessed? Or will he hate her? Kei is an over thinker and now is not a good time to think about a future with Vegas.

She's been having a huge, fat crush on Vegas since the first time their fathers met for business in the summer of 2010. They were around six and seven years old at the time and instantly, Kei knew that the boy with that butterfly tie. Gelled, mohawk-cut hairstyle, bunny teeth protruding out of his upper lip is the love of her life. She didn't care how he looks, just by looking at his behaviour and attitude around the grown ups at that time, she knew he's the one.
But we need to address the elephant in the room. Kei is scared. She may look intimidating most of the time. Heck, she's the most powerful Carozza's heir and nobody dares to cross her but when it comes to love, this woman is hopeles. Useless!!! She would rant to her second oldest sibling, Rey about how she imagine a life with Vegas. Going on a holiday together, making cute little Carozzas, growing old together in a far away land without having to deal with the shit Theerapanyakun gave them. It was her long time life goal to be able to tie the knot with Vegas. But again, when Rey would suggest confessing to Vegas, she would abruptly stop her fangirling, stares at Rey and as quickly as she came into Rey's room, she would hide her face in the pillow and squeal like a dying rat.
