The Cocoa Cafe was her favourite coffee shop, the only coffee haven that always used to brightened up her mood. Seated on their usual place in the cafe, he ordered her favourite cappuccino.
Tracing the rim of the mug and gazing at the empty chair across the table, He listened to the notes that sings the melody of her absence. 'Remember when you used to laugh at my silly jokes here?' he whispered, a bittersweet smile playing on his lips.'Today I am crying remembering you.'
The hot Cappuccino turned cold, but her memories continued to warm his soul.
He clutched the mug, taking a sip,'Even the coffee tastes different now, like a bitter memory,' he confessed to the shadow, his eyes welling with tears.
