Everything in Jun life took a turn when fates leads him to a familiar face from his past, his childhood friend Mei.

Mei did come back home late, she found the food Jun did and did reheat and ate since she was hungry and also felt bad for not being there.
She wished he would stay there, after all her work she wanted to come home and being with him. Probably put a movie and just snuggle.
This morning as Mei was taking a shower, she heard a bell. Wrapping a towel around her body, she went to check who it was.
Looking through the camera she was happy to see its Jun.
She didn't bother getting dress, opening the door Jun was standing there with flowers on his hand.
"Hey babe, what did you do?" Mei asked
"It's for you, to apologize for yesterday"
"Thanks... I guess but I'm not mad. You're super busy it's normal you didn't want to wait for me. But I'll accept this as an apology for not going home"
"The dinner was the apology for that"
"It was good, I ate when I got home" she smiled "now can you hug me and resolve this tension?"
"I can't hug you like this" he looked down her body "you'll be the death of me"
"You would love to be killed by me" she winked and lets the towel fall.
It was a good start of the day for them.
After a second shower, Jun was on his phone talking with Rejun when Mei appeared now fully dressed.
"I'm gonna make some breakfast, what do you want?"
"Anything. Rejun says hello"
"He's the sweetest" Mei smiled and went to the kitchen

"Minghao is asking for the recipe" Jun said hugging her from behind
"You haven't eat it. How do you know is good?"
"I just know it" he kissed her neck "I demand my manager some days off after the comeback. I think it's near your birthday even"
"Really?" Mei turns to him "thanks, that means a lot to me. I may overreact yesterday....you have a job you can't control your schedule the way you want to. You have people depending on you. I'm sorry"
"Don't say that. I know what it's like to move to another country and to feel homesick. I suffered that pretty much for months. I'm here for you and we'll go home together so I can be with you when you met your parents again" he kissed her "I'll pick a movie, I have the afternoon.... Well almost"
She got happy at knowing he could stay with her for some hours.
Mei really thought she wasn't the clingy type but not with Jun, she's been changing and until he's complaining she's staying clingy.
After they ate, Jun practically demanded Mei to have a seat while he did the dishes. She was on her phone waiting for him to start the movie.
"Your mom sent me a photo" Mei said " she's with my mom"
"I'm sorry babe" Jun said shaking his head "I'll talk to her"
"Why? They're happy... see" she got up and showed him the phone.
As Jun was cleaning his hands e looked and did in fact saw both moms smiling and enjoying their brunch.
He chuckled thinking he still needs to text his mom but happy their getting along again after the eyes apart.
The phone was still turn to him when Mei received a text from her boss.
Boss 🇨🇳
Can you come to China next week?
Jun glances again at the text and frowns, his girlfriend seeing his face looks at her screen. Seeing the text she replies while Jun still looking at her pissed.
"You're going?"
"It's work" Mei shrugged her shoulders as she hit send "what's wrong? You go away all the time"
"It's different. It's just the two of you?"
"Are you asking what I'm thinking you're asking?" She raised her eyebrow " I don't cheat."
"I know. But tell him you feel uncomfortable"
"No. It's work... probably we aren't going alone"
"But you may be going alone"
"Jun..."
"Mei, he may be interested in you"
"Go." Mei said opening the door of her apartment
"What?" Asked Jun confused at her
"We're about to fight and say mean words at each other so let's be grown ups. Calm the fuck down and then speak" she looked at him with fire in her eyes.
Jun doesn't say much as he knows Mei and she's thinking of the best for them. He didn't intend to hurt her but yeah, maybe if the conversation went deeper they would fight and he would say the wrong thing.
Walking out, he leaned to kissed her but Mei turned her face. Jun felt immediately bad for his actions and her to turn down work and even put her job at risk.
