"Cameron and Grace we're leaving" shouted my dad

I sighed as I grabbed my boxes and bags

I saw Cameron struggling with all his stuff so I helped him carry it down

Mom and Dad we're getting a divorce so that meant one of them had to move out and that was dad

Dad was moving to Virginia and taking us with him

It was originally supposed to be Cameron going with Dad and me staying here in Cali with mom

But me and my brother Cameron didn't want to be separated, He was always protective of me and he was like my best friend so we didn't like spending time apart

I kissed and hugged my mom goodbye as we stepped out of the house

She was crying

She seemed really upset when she found out I wasn't staying with her

But new place, new beginnings
