"My turn! Uh, it's my turn!" Kai yelled.

"Oh, you want a little more? Take this!" Cole said.

"Yeah? How about a little of this?" Jay asked.

"Monkey paw to the head!" Kai said.

"Ninja, roll!" Said Charlie.

"Dragon punch!" Jay cried.

Master Wu entered the training yard to find Charlie, Cole, Jay, and Kai training and Zane meditating.

"Ninja, go!" Kai cried as he preformed Spinjitzu.

Zane suddenly got up from his meditation and jumped in front of Jay.

"Hey! Huh?" Jay said confused

Zane took Cole's weapon from where he was practicing with Charlie.

"Hey!" "

What?"

"Ninja, go!" Zane said as he did Spinjitzu, freezing the ground and making Kai slip.

"Woah, oof." Kai said as he hit the ground.

The Ninja, excluding Zane, regrouped.

"This roof isn't big enough for the five of us." Kai said.

"Correction: This roof isn't big enough for him." Cole said gesturing to Zane.

"It's like he's in his own world." Charlie said.

"I BET HE CAN'T EVEN HEAR US!" Jay shouted as Wu aproched the four disturbed ninja.

"Sensei, Zane's weird..." Kai said.

"What is weird?" Will asked. "Someone who is different or someone who is different than you?" 

"No, Sensei." Cole corrected. "He's 'weird', weird."

Charlie thought of the time she found Zane going through her book collection. Which wasn't unusual except for the fact that he was dog-earing all the pages with new chapters, something Charlie spent hours mending.

"We like the guy." Kai said. "He's really smart. He's just..." He sighed. "A little off sometimes."

"Zane is a brother and brothers are often different. I should know." Wu said.

Their conversation was cut short by the Postman arriving.

"Mail!" Jay, Kai, Cole and Charlie all ran to the door to greet the panting Postman.

"Let's see. A letter from Jay's parnets. Kai has a fan letter. Oh, something from Cole's father."

"What, no package?" Cole asked. "I'm expecting something from Creatures, Beasts, and Beyond."

The postman rummaged in his bag. "No. Nothing...uh-uh. Here it is!" He gave a box to Cole who laughed. "Ha! Rocky's gonna love this!"

Charlie looked at the postman, hope shining in her eyes. 

"Sorry, Charlie. Nothing." He said.

Charlie forced a smile. "It's okay." She decided to see what Cole had gotten Rocky. She passed Zane on the way and they shared a look. They were very close so Charlie knew he had no family just like he knew she didn't except for Lloyd and Wu. Charlie gave him a half hearted smile which he returned. Even if they didn't have family they had each other, and that was enough.

Charlie found Cole in the stables doting over his dragon.

"Liver and toads, Rocky. Your favorite." He gave the dragon the food.
