Chapter Two: Set Tour

Your eyes admired the sight of the set, every prop amazed you. The Duffer brothers had personally taken the opportunity to give you the tour themselves, and they were extremely nice, might I add.

You could still feel the enormous amount of excitement bubbling inside you, I mean, isn't that normal when you get to work on the set of a show you've loved for years? I believe so.

"So, this will be the end of the tour, if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask. You have our number now." Mark Duffer said to you, kindness filling his tone as Ross nodded.

"Yes, and if you do need help finding anything and we're not here, find Maya. She'll be more than happy to help you." Ross instructed and you listened carefully to their words.

"Yes, of course. Thank you very much." The brothers waved to you, both give you one last sweet smile before leaving. You let out a breath, admiring the set once again. Your dream was to become an actor, of course it was, and your family could not have been more supportive.

In fact, because of your sisters uprising fame, you've been able to meet so many good people that you can call your best friends. For example, Sabrina Carpenter, a very sweet girl who instantly made you like her. You couldn't be more happier to call her a real friend, and you were even more grateful to know she wasn't ashamed to call you her friend either.

You wandered around the set, your eyes glancing down unknown halls to peak through the open doors. You came across the break room, a platter of donuts placed neatly on a table pushed up against the wall, with some other delicious snacks and drinks.

You smiled to yourself, making a mental note to come back here. You pulled your phone out, seeing a missed call from Taylor, you decided to call her back. You clicked on the FaceTime button and let it ring. In a matter of seconds, your sister had picked up.

"Y/n/n! Hey, how's it going so far?!" The excitement and proudness in her voice made you chuckle.

"It's going great! I just finished the tour and now I'm on my own, I guess." You shrugged, but the smile never left.

Taylor smiled back, focusing all her attention on you through the screen. "Well, I'm very happy for you. Be safe! I gotta go, little sis, love you!"

"Love you more, Tay." You chuckled, reaching your hand up to wave to her. She waved back, smiling one last time before hanging up. You were so focused on your phone that you didn't even notice that you almost walked into a wall, until, a hand caught your arm in time.

"Whoa, there!" Their honey voice called out to you, you shuffled to put your phone away, looking up at them. "Might wanna pay attention so you never run into a wall." They chuckled.

You glanced up, seeing someone you've always had a small crush on ever since you've watched her appearance in season two of the show.

Sadie Sink.

The ginger girl let you go, seeing the shock that overcame your face. "You okay there, pretty?" She asked, waving her hand slightly in front of your face, snapping you out of your trance.

"Uh." You hesitated, stumbling over your words as you got lost in her ocean blue eyes. "Y-yeah."

"Of course. Wouldn't want your pretty face to be damaged." Sadie joked, chuckling as your face turned red, your breathing slowly increasing.

"Uh thanks?" You questioned, your face feeling hot. "I uh gotta go." Before you could rush off, Sadie grabbed your arm gently.

"Wait, you're the new girl on set, right? Max's new love interest?" Your eyes widened at that new piece of information you seemed to be missing.

"I think so." Your voice reached a higher octave,  making you blush out of embarrassment.

Sadie smiled, giggling quietly to herself. "You're cute." She complimented with a wink, making your knees go weak. "I'll see you around, new girl." She smiled, giving you a wave before walking off, her hands tucked in the pocket of her jacket.

As soon as she rounded the corner of the hall, you let out a long breath you didn't know you were holding. "I'm playing Sadie Sink's love interest?!"
