The streets of Lumiose are peppered with passersby and civilians alike, their numbers never seeming to dwindle in the slightest. Against the backdrop of a morning sun that softly twinkles like glitter down each road, there is a plain serenity complementing Lumiose's extravagant grandeur.

At the heart of it all, the widely renowned Prism Tower, the star pinnacle of the Kalos region itself, some might say, even though many people have yet to set their eyes on the luminescent giant.

You're walking in its direction when Lopunny suddenly comes to a halt in the middle of the road. She squeezes your hand, preventing you from going any further as she tilts her head up at the tower looming over you.

You look back at her to glimpse a wonderful twinkle in her eye. She adores the city. Looking up at the tower is only more of a dreamlike experience for her, especially when she's able to be at your side all the while.

"You should see it at night," you say and flash her a grin. "The lights on the outside are a lot more visible. It's really pretty."

Lopunny bounces on her heels in anticipation. "Pun-pun-ny~!"

"Yeah, we'll come back tonight," you answer.

"Lo-pun-pun?"

You sigh but a smile betrays your feigned annoyance. "Yes, we'll bring snacks."

Lopunny clings to your arm and gives you a peck on the cheek, ecstatic. Once again on her way and with something exciting to look forward to, Lopunny eagerly hops to her feet whilst holding your hand. The two of you go back to combing the streets, taking in the endless noise and grand sights and the aroma of different herbal teas and hot breakfast foods wafting down the road.

Lopunny had found something she'd never tasted before: steamed Moomoo Milk at one of the many streetside beverage vendors. Such a simple thing to be excited over, but for her, it was like finding candy for the first time. You couldn't resist her twinkling gazes, her pink eyes that looked more like hearts when you'd look close enough. You indulged in a cup of the flavorful milk with Lopunny and went back to watching her skip down the road alongside you, your fingers always interlaced in hers.

You just didn't like the accusatory stare the barista woman gave you earlier when you told her you were ordering for two.

Later, evening rolls around. You decided to buy out a hotel room for the night, something you didn't think you could do because you swore you never had a penny to your name in your previous life. Apparently you were racking up allowances in this life without even knowing it.

The hotel room is a humble one; minimalistic decoration suited to be pleasing to the eyes at the very least, albeit not very inviting, it's a room you can fall asleep in if nothing else. It's a little bland but at least the bed looks comfortable. And it's pretty big. It'll fit Lopunny. That's all that really matters.
