When I woke up to go to the dining hall I noticed there was still a spot of blood on the floor from last night. I hope I can find something to clean that..
Fortunately at breakfast there was barely a mark on Kokichi's face. As the group conversed he walked up to Shuichi.
"Don't tell Tsumugi, but I stole some of her makeup!" He shot Shuichi a smirk and made a sush gesture.
"How does it feel? It doesn't hurt too much does it?"
"What? You mean when you CRUELLY BEAT ME LAST NIGHT!?" He spoke intentionally loudly. Shuichi looked around nervously while the others just told Kokichi to shut up.
"Don't worry Shu~ Nobody takes me seriously!" Shuichi frowned a little as he looked at him.
"But isn't that a little sad..?" Kokichi stared at him blankely before looking to the side.
"It's okay.."
"Is it-" Kokichi gently grabbed his hand but still avoided eye contact.
"Let's not talk about this right now... Can I visit after breakfast..?"
"Yeah of course." He nodded and left the room while Shuichi watched him.
"So Shuichi, You never came back to me last night!" He turned to see Kaito. "Why don't we go visit Maki right now?"
"Huh? Uh will it take long..?"
"That doesn't matter! Come on let's go get her!" Shuichi murmered reluctantly as Kaito took him along.
They passed Kokichi again as Kaito dragged him past. The former just smiled and waved as if nothing was wrong. When they got to the dorms Kaito marched up the steps while Shuichi stumbled behind him.
"Yo Maki! Open up!" He yelled as he loudly knocked on the door. There was a moment of hesitation before it opened a crack.
"What do you want." She was out of view but a black aura seemed to fog out of the room.
"You've been cooped up for 4 days already! Aren't you gonna get food or somthing!?"
"I have preserves in here."
"Aw come on! You need a hot meal! Open up!" He tried to push the door open but she held fast.
"No. I'm not coming out! Leave me alone." Kaito pouted and stepped back. He sighed and walked to the rail.
"you have to come out soon, how about tonight for dinner?"
"I said no-" He took off running and slammed into the door, just enough to catch her off guard.
"YOU ASSHOLE!"
"QUICK SHUICHI! DON'T LET HER ESCAPE!"
"Huh!?"
"Fine I'll come to dinner just get out of my room!" She grabbed him and shoved him out.
"I'll be counting on it! 7 o'clock sharp!"
"Don't act like it's a date!" She snarled at him and slammed the door.
"I can't wait to see her! Next I want to make her my sidekick!"
"I thought I was your sidekick?"
"A hero can have more than one sidekick."
"Isn't hero a little... big headed..?"
"Nonsense!"
"Alright well, I'll see you at dinner too, I had plans today.."
"Alright! See ya sidekick!" Shortly after Kaito left, Kokichi entered the dormitory.
"You done with him?"
"I think so? Wanna go to my room?" He asked as he stepped down the stairs.
"Yea" He paused then. "Actually I think I'm good, You should still have time to hangout with the others."
"Huh? I don't mind spending my time with you."
"I'm sure they miss you, don't you wanna hang out with Kaito?"
"I'd have fun hanging out with you too." He didn't smile but Kokichi's face visibly lit up.
"Well, I guess if you insist."
"Want to go to the casino?"
"Yep! It's a date!"
"D-don't say it like that..
Maki held her ear to her door silently as she listened to their conversation.
(They're getting close? I'm not sure if I trust him.. He might be up to something. Would he kill Shuichi though? Or maybe he'll frame him. I need more information.)

As they played games together, Kokichi slowly got closer to Shuichi. A few times he caught himself sidetracted from the screens and staring at the other instead.
"Are you even trying-" Shuichi turned with a small smile but jumped slightly when he saw the other watching him. Kokichi's eyes widened and he blinked a view times as he turned his view.
"Do you.. want to go check out at the prize desk?"
"Yeah! sure.." They walked up the stairs together as Kokichi avoided eye contact, a faint blush on his cheeks. Monodam greeted them nonchalantly.
Shuichi picked a package up and glanced at kokichi. He handed monodam a bag of coins, and in turn he tossed them into his mouth and chomped them.
"Hmmm I wonder what sodas they have.. What did you get?"
"I got these.. I know it's kinda cheesy.."
"Show me! Show me!" Kokichi leaned towards him smiling cheekily. It was a matching set of wireless connected bracelets, one red and one blue. Shuichi opened the box and extended the red one to him.
"when you press this button here, it will make this one light up." he put the blue one on his wrist and held it up.
"S-so you know.. when ever you need me to come over.." Shuichi fumbled with his sleeves nervously.
Kokichi looked at him blankly, causing Shuichi to panic and start doubting himself.
"I- uhm, you don't have to take it-" Kokichi clasped it on his wrist and smiled at it.
"Thank you Shuichi.."
"Ahah.. I won't be hurt if you don't like it, you don't have to lie.." He started to mess with his sleeves again but stopped when his bracelet lit up.
"Looks like you need it right now" Kokichi grabbed his hand. "I really do appreciate it Shuichi." He made the bracelet light up again.
"Wuh oh! Looks like we have to hang out some more!" He giggled at Shuichi as he pulled him out of the casino.
"Ah- don't you want to spend your coins?"
"Nah! I can have much more fun using them to bribe Kaito, Nishishi~" Shuichi groaned sarcastically then grinned back at him.
