An Apple A Day...

Irony is quite a common thing.

Irony is also quite a shitty thing.

And for Lilith Thompson, she had unwillingly got herself in a painfully comedic and horrifically ironic situation.

It was irritating enough that she was told a stupid metaphor everyday since she could remember, but said stupid metaphor just had to be "An Apple a Day keeps the Doctor away,".

Which was bad enough. But it didn't really stop there for her oh, no. It had to be her parents who, on the day of the faithful accident finally finished helping her move in to her new dorm (which, in her case means both her parents kept popping up 3 months into the school year to make sure she was comfortable and "settling in alright".)

As a condition for letting her stay in a town so far away for college, her parents made her promise to actually eat an apple a day. Hell they made her eat one in front of them. Which was the start of Lilith's ironic misfortune.

Unluckily as Lilith might have ever been, she had taken a few big bites of a fairly rotten apple, and was soon took to the hospital.

Which was the crappiest ironic twist ever.

Because, you know.

Doctors. Apples.

Oh, ha.

And it didn't help that the doctor wasn't even a medical graduate.
