The next few days are spent in school. It's a rainy day today- perfect in my opinion.
I split from the group as I see Bella walk into the school.
"Hey! Bella" I say as I catch up to her.
She's huddled under her umbrella as the rain plummets down.
"Oh hi" she says with a smile
"How are you liking the rain?" I ask her
"It's.... Wet" she says as she points out the obvious
"I like it, a dreary day like this- perfect" I say as we enter the school, stopping slightly as Bella shakes out her closed umbrella at the door.
"So what class have you got first today?" I ask her
"Um.... Bio I think" she tells me and I smirk
"Oh really..." I say as I nudge her shoulder
"Hey, what's that supposed to mean" she says
"Well, I just know that you sit next to Edward and I thought that since you two have been getting along.... You know"
She laughs
"He barely talked to me last lesson and he's not been in the whole of the week before" she comments as she crosses her arms, clearly annoyed at him.
"Ok" I laugh as we approach the room "well, I will see you later ok?" I ask her and she nods as I turn to leave
"Oh hey, I was wondering if you wanted to come over this weekend? You know, because you're like the only person who seems to be my friend in your group. The others just tend to ignore me" she laughs awkwardly.
I stand there as I open and close my mouth.
"Ummm" I say
I glance behind her and out the corner of my eye I make eye contact with Edward who is already sat in Bella's class.
Edward knows my apprehension at anything close to party's since the 'incident'.
He nods once at me, but I still take a moment to think it over.
"Or not!" She says as she stands in my previous eyeline of Edward. "You don't have to- I mean I just kind of assumed that we were friends but if you don't want to that's ok, really, I don't mean to pressure you-"
"No, no..... I'll go" I say forcing a tight lipped smile on my face.
"Perfect! It's going to be so fun, we can watch movies and talk about boys"she beams as I just nod along. "I will see you at lunch?"
I nod as she walks into the room, unable to think of anything else to say.
I stand there for a second as I think over what I just agreed to and I glance at Edward once more before I leave. He's got his eyes on me with a questioning look, he's completely ignoring Bella's painful attempts to talk to him as she sits down.
His expression is clear.
'Are you sure? You don't have to' it reads
I try my best to put on my most confident face as I nod once and leave to go to my next class.
I've got History today.
I often love this class, most of the questions are easy because I either lived through the events or heard about them before I was turned, but today I would rather be anywhere else.
As I enter the classroom, I see Jasper and Rosalie sitting next to each other in their assigned seats.
I don't look at them as I sit at the back of the room, in my seat. Just thinking about going to Bella's is giving me a headache.
I sigh as I place my head on my hand and look at the front of the room, trying to pay attention, but failing miserably.

After saying bye to a bubbly Jess, the others and I walk behind into the school.
She loves the rain. It makes me smile whenever I see her in such a good mood.
"You know you can talk to her during school hours Rose" Emmett says as he stands next to me
"I know, and I do!" I say as we enter the school doors
"Yes, but not nearly as much as you do at home" he says
"I would if i could. Don't you think I want to? What just because you could cuddle up to your mate whenever you want to you feel the need to shove it in my face?" I snap
It's quite for a minute before I sigh
"Sorry" I say
"It's ok, I understand" he says, rubbing my shoulder as he places his arm around me
"As much as you want to, you won't though Em. It's so hard for me! I watch everyone else living their best lives with their partners knowing that i can't because it's illegal. It's not fair" I say
"I know, it's fucked up Sis. If i had a mate half as amazing as Jess I'd want the world to know as well"
It's quite for a minute before i perk up slightly
"You will Emmett, and when you meet her, you'll be so happy"
He shrugs before pulls me into his side and we spot Jasper down the hallway.

After shrugging off my sad mood, Jasper and I make our way into the classroom. This is his favourite class, all about the war he was apart of.
Honestly, I'm glad we got assigned seats together because it means he's always my group project partner so I've never failed a class.
I laugh with Jasper until I see her walk through the door.
I look up
"Hey!" I say, but she just walks past me with her earplugs in her iPod as she makes her way to her seat.
I watch as she rests her head on her hand and pinches her temple.
"Jesper what's wrong?" I ask, concerned "she was bubbly this morning" I say
"She feels anxious and...."
"And what?" I ask him, worried
"Heartbreak" he finishes looking at me from his stare at Jess.
I waste no time before saying what we are both thinking.
"Someone must have brought up the 'incident'"
