My fingers are itching to reach for my printed resignation letter. But it's only a Tuesday after the race weekend, there's a chance that it might turn out well by tomorrow. Maybe there is a chance. I only need to time it right.
My phone vibrates at my desk, making me sit up straight as I look up and check if there's anyone heading to my desk. The cubicle, while it isn't as roomy, has enough space for privacy. I always wondered what kind of shit would my coworkers be up to in their own spaces. Are they plotting some kind of revenge? Who knows.
My mind isn't even focusing on my coworkers and their method of avenging, but my eyes are rather focused on the text message I received.

My mind wandered back to what had occurred yesterday. Revising my piece with my supervisor and other colleague, Alondra. Alondra is the closest thing that I have to an angel in this place, and I cannot believe that she's just allowing herself to remain in the lowest position.
