Protected by a rouge bat

Danny swiveled his head left and right before making his daring leap... through the front doors.

Recently he had been feeling like someone was watching him. After what happened with the big Bat, he was feeling even more paranoid.

Danny breathed a sigh of relief once he was safely inside. He approached the front desk lady casually.

"Name"

"Danny Fenton"

She raised an eyebrow suspicious of his identity and gave him a quick once-over.

"You seem familiar"

"Nope, never met you before" Danny said nervously.

She nodded but she clearly wasn't convinced.

"Alright Mr. Fenton, your free to visit"

Danny practically ran to Ivy's room.

She was surprised to see him and immediately started questioning him.

"Danny, if you keep doing stuff like that you'll get yourself in trouble" Ivy said sounding worried.

"I promise that I'm being careful, it was only when I had to" Danny said.

She let it go and after they talked Danny went and talked to Vlad.

He left feeling fulfilled and happy, he wasn't too far from the center when an anxiety hit him.

Out of corner of his eye, he thought he saw the fluttering of a black cape and shivers ran down his spine.

He practically ran back to his apartment.

Suddenly a hand grabbed his shoulder while he stood outside the door of the apartment building.

"GAAHHH!" Danny screamed jumping.

He took a deep breath and relaxed when he saw that it was just Red Hood.

"Woah, you good?"

Danny nodded.

"Yeah, sorry I've been on edge lately. It feels like someone's watching me sometimes, anyway you probably want to know about your helmet right?"

Jason felt guilty. Someone had been watching Danny, well, two someone's.

"D-did you finish it?" He asked trying to distract himself from his guilt.

Danny smiled.

"Wait here, I'll be right back"

Good on his word, Danny returned with helmet in hand only a couple minutes later.

Jason took it and slipped it on over his black mask.

"Nice" he said approvingly.

Danny grinned proudly.

"I'm glad you like it" Danny said happy that his hard work was being recognized.

"Danny"

Jason and Danny both jumped. Batman was standing a few paves in front of them.

When did he get here? Jason wondered.

"We need to talk" Batman ordered.

Jason moved Danny behind him as if shielding him from The Dark Knight.

"What do you have to talk about?" Jason asked playing off the question like a joke.

Danny stayed silent. He didn't really want to talk to Batman.

"Vlad"

Danny looked at Batman shook.

"W-what did he tell you?!" Danny asked worried.
